ABC7 Los Angeles

This has always been a decent app for local Los Angeles news and now theres an advertisement on tv promoting the latest version However the only real difference I notice is the inclusion of banner ads on the bottom of the screen So much for new and improved        Good for Local News but NOW with ADS

This version like one one previous doesnt work on my iPad with 83 Nothing works under Sections but the links for weather video photos and traffic do function All the others display white empty boxes with faint captions of image credit and updated ago with no content no image no links     Doesnt work

Update released 6 April 2015 has bugs Do not touch the ads in the upper right corner It will take over the app unable to shut down ad unable to right size ad unable to right side up ad unable to find cancel option unable to get back to news app This app was released untested dont be their lab rat test dummy like I was     Weak HOLD OFF UPDATiNG

They have two articles of the same thing up and when touching for full screen it crashes and makes me lose 30secs of my time there           Needs Improvement

What once a great source for news and once was a great tool for sharing important news is a complete and total failure at both if not more Its ads are annoying Its incapable of performing simple tasks and shuts off before its able to open The programmer is obviously an employees friend hence the reason why this moron got the job and is incapable at doing it     Weak disappointing annoying crude

This has to be one of the worst apps in history Crashes several times when opening photos dont match the story Articles repeated several times and they can be posted for days not removed so you often have daysold news and with a wrong photo And as reviewers have said the ads are awful Especially the ones that take over the screen and the only way to get rid of it is to close down This has been going on for some time not just the new update which just made things worse Since the programmers and ABC dont seem to be in a hurry to fix this I think it is time to uninstall and go elsewhere for my news     Dont bother

The older version worked just fine This new version still has bugs you cant or at least I havent been able to find how to change the font size From what I can tell all they did I was add more adds Disappointed Still a the best LA news app that I can tell but the new and improved is neither new or improved           This update did not improve the app

Not so much for ABC7 it appears From constant errors and weird format coding this app and editors could use some help It is definitely not a new concern The recommended story ads are a bit annoying as well        Spelling is so important

This app is garbage You cant share articles on Facebook now It only allows sharing on Twitter and Dropbox The app crashes and when its not crashing the news is day old stuff Please fix thanks        I loved this app

I dont mind a subtle ad appearing in the app but this update has added those garbage links from Outbrain to the bottom of articles How any legitimate news provider can use Outbrain or Taboola is completely beyond me        Ads OK Outbrain NO

App crashes but worst of all their video feed has no audio also they are always zoomed in so much on their pursuits that you dont know what is happening it could be someone driving on the freeway and you dont know where they are It is their job to report the story not just show you zoomed in video very boring coverage of pursuits One great thing about the app you can get alerts and just watch it on KTLA or NBCs app much better     No commentary on video feed

Yep its true The app is 50 fake news stories Thinking you can trick people with Recommended Stories that are really just ad links is really insulting I wonder if channel 2 4 or kcal9 does that Im going somewhere else Uninstall     Just a bunch of ads not news

The most recent update renders this app frustratingly unusable Pictures do not match stories Keenly placed ad buttons upperright corner where easily mistakenly pressed trigger ads designed for only vertical viewing which require hard close to turn off When scrolling through stories some stories repeat multiple times before other stories are shown for first timethe effect is that some stories are frequently presented at twice the rate of local news Poorly programmed appenough so to be avoided     Glitchynearly unusable

I really like your ABC7 application but your are missing a business and technology section     Business section

ABC used to be my only choice But Joe they are worse than TMZ Sensationalized reporting half truths or just the outline with no real news They frequently forget to say where something happened the use a great deal of slang I reporting they never resolve stories with final outcomes The dumbing down of America seems to have started here Choose another news app        News that isnt worth it anymore
