Gave this a try based on other reviews but could not use the app because it presents a login screen to an online service If you dont sign up for iCloud this app wont start Requires a membership
This app kinda worked for me at first I was able to open 2 files from Dropbox but when I was prompted to give the app readwrite options to Dropbox I could never get it to load a file again It also complains about slow internet connections that are not that slow Oh yes the interface is offbeat and hard to figure out Look elsewhere for a MS office capable app I am Wierd and buggy

Used this with my iPad Mini and Apple Wireless Keyboard to edit a simple Word doc App was very slow in scrolling through the document and the changes I would make wouldnt appear until after a second or two of lagtime And the tab button wouldnt work but worked in other programs Meh Nice for free but not for usual usage Kinda Works
Feature rich office application for iPad Loved the integration with drop box Having a easy way to edit word excel is great I personally did not try modeling but can see reviewing excel sheets can be a lot of help Looking forward to use the collaboration tool Shaunak Great product
This is just not optimized for the iOS or any touch screen device this was optimized for a pc It is not user friendly Hard to use I tried to make charts and downsizing the input box but all that did was make everything disappear after that I gave up after trying 5 minutes to bring it back up It would crash often and give me a connecting screen for a while until I just closed and reopened the app I recommend just using a laptop Not user friendly
I like being able to use my xls files with this app but sometimes my iPad wireless keyboard stops working in the app and the internal keyboard freezes at the same time Not all the Excel features are available in the tools like the formatting of the cell borderscolors Has potential

Astralpad is one of the best Productivity Apps for the iPad The graphics and overall look are friendly and intuitive Being able to multitask is a huge plus Dropbox works seamlessly and I like the fact that no record is kept of your Dropbox downloads a real boon to corporate usersTogether with my Kensington keyboard Astralpad now gives me full computer functionality on my iPad Phenomenal Will exponentially increase your use of your iPad
I did not find in advertisement that this only works online Has no functionality unless connected via wifi That said I does work very nicely My tests were with spreadsheets and it was very user friendly Wish I could use it when I dont have wifi Astralthis is a cloud app only
This app sounded good I decided to try it First thing it wants me to do is sign up to use it I dont always have internet connectivity So if I dont have connectivity I cant use this app right The concept that there is starting to be a whole movement of everything in the cloud Nothing local What happens if you have to work someplace the cloud isnt available iPads and iPhones are extremely portable I have gone places where there is no cel phone coverage Thus I avoid apps that only work if the internet is available This might be a good app But I dont have time to check out an app that has to have the internet or access to Their cloud What happens if their cloud gets hacked or goes down Or they decide this app isnt making them enough money and they pull the cord on their cloud It happens a lot Last I dont need yet another cloud I have to pay monthly for Signup
I tried to use this app but it refuses to accept either my Dropbox login or my iCloud login to start If they expect me to create yet another account on their system then this is a nonstarter Its a shame because this app sounded like a good solution for me Couldnt get it to start
Cannot use internal system fonts cause no use with Thai language Support team please help updating this problem Thai language cannot use

This app would be perfect if it worked like it was made for an iPad instead of a computer The graphics arent all that good and could use some updates but if you were to fix these problems i would give it 5 stars Update

This app seamlessly integrates with all the cloud storage providers I use on a daily basis and finally allows me to collaborate in real time without the need to lug around my laptop everywhere I go I can now travel without my laptop and have no fear of losing productivity Bridges the iPad PC productivity gap
Very easy to use Has all the features required to edit wordexcel and powerpoint docs on my ipad Dont know how the previous reviewer missed the cell border and color options under the format menu This app is really worth a try and works great from my home and work wifi I only wish they had an offline option too Now this is the real deal for office productivity
There are tons of bugs like random crashes not being able to type program freezes etc it use to work pretty well but now after my last update its almost useless Please fix

Incredible office app I can edit powerpoint word and excel documents on the iPad easily save them in Dropbox and continue working on the document on my PC at work And this is the only app on the iPad that allows me to multitask work on two documents simultaneously and copy paste tables and charts between them Fills a gap
I loved this app for basic notetaking in the 3 days that it worked for me I was using CloudOn to take notes but I found this liked this better UNTIL it completely erased one of my dropbox files Well it didnt erase it but it turned my lengthy word file into a blank excel sheet and I could not retrieve my content I liked it at first but I deleted it after it ruined my file and now Im back to using CloudOn Was great until

This app works great for doing my monthly budgeting and keeping track of my investments I do wish I could access this app when I dont have WiFi or Internet connection Astral pad
