Accomplished iOS DAW that requires the most up to date hardware for best experience This software is primarily for recording and editing of Live instruments it is NOT suited for in the box iOS music production There are other cheaper and considerably less clunky options for in the box production on the platform             Not for in the box production sparkiexxx

lol I see some grips up on here and all I m gonna say is you guys are either haters or working for the other Dev s to try and give Auria Pro a low rating so people can fork over the same 50 for cough cubasis I don t know bout you guys but I m a working Studio Engineer Producer Writer I use Auria Pro to sequence arrange and mix my beats everything working great and I haven t even bought none of the fab filter stuff I ve been using auria pro for about a year now and yea it may have a lil bug or two but hey The Pro Tools Rig and Mac Pro Tower I work on in my studio has glitches also nothing is perfect Auria Pro is the Closest thing to ProTools on iOS Kudos to WaveMachine labs                     The greatest app RealBumpy

Auria does require some commitment in order to understand It s not a casual app that s right for everyone and for that matter it isn t going to fit the needs of every expert Auria does have a lot under the hood It can do a lot of things that I never expected to be able to do on an iPad The manual is pretty good but it s the type of app that really benefits from an active forum The Auria forum has already been going for years and it s the type of forum that will continue to be active I like Auria so much that I bought an extra iPad to devote mainly towards Auria recording Of course I have other music apps on that iPad with Auria being the centerpiece where the songs and performances are put together                     A bargain for the price Moment65

Yup all the bad reviews for this very well deserved It takes forever just to figure out extremely unintuitive and cluttered with a lot of irrelevant options when the option you re looking for doesn t exist Don t even get me started about how often it crashes Everyone who s had to suffer the inherent instability of this application deserves a complete refund     Horrible learning curve waste of time and money Conrad Keely

Update please     Crashes CPU Overload on Air 2 Sockotaco

Complete waste of money I have all major daws and they all work fine on my iPad Air All I hear is how good the filters are for Auria I decide to pony up the 50 it crashes or overloads CPU after 2 tracks I m so upset that I can t use the fab filters I bought I guess I will try to just mix a final track     Total disappointment Jshmix

Ok so i have purchased Auria when it came out The app was always full of bugs crashing and no midi so i never really use it at all Now i was quit silly to go and purchased the Auria pro what should have been an update for Auria users anyways was another 50 dollars of waisting money A total of 100 dollars waisted with this guys I am using an ipad air and this thing its of no use Apple should better monitor at least this expensive apps and make sure they never hit their tablets if their not doing what they say they do Do not wait your money here     I want a refund please Goldenage2012

The app is an example of good thought but abysmal execution Not only is my work misplaced seemingly by itself when I come back to the app but it crashes almost every time I try to load a song Please don t waste 50 on garbage like I did     Nearly useless Nigeria blue

Not much else to say except wonderful Auria Pro opened up so many possibilities for our youth strings group Favorite feature time warping allows misplaced notes to be lined up with the rest of the group Love it Some crashes and bizarre bugs but our work was not lost                     Wonderful for studio mixing our small group MacHound

YO I recorded 72 minutes of recording with my band While editing the tracks the darn app crashed When it rebooted ALL OF MY TRACKS WERE DELETED GONE Now what are you guys going to do about it IT YOUR PRODUCT ISN T STABLE ENOUGH TO FUNCTION CORRECTLY THEN TAKE IT DOWN I AM SO MAD AT AURIA RIGHT NOW Ugh     Crashed and burned chelchel

For a very long time i did not use this app but continued to download the updates whenever i noticed they were available This i did without even opening the app to check out whatever new features were add or its performance Believe it or not this practice went on for over a year or it could be way longer than that because i remember at one time the graphics were not retina Lol Today 01 09 2017 i decided to open the app and was instantly impressed with what i saw What impressed me so much The drum and keyboard pad I can now tap out beats This is awesome The graphics i noticed is now incredible I have it installed on my iPad Pro 12 9 and its absolutely looks amazing in landscape mode I am away from home now and i am just salivating from this idea in my head to get home and hook my iPad up to my big screen 4K tv in my living room The developer should focus on making this incredible app as rock solid as possible then embarked on a massive promotional campaign to put it in the kings throne were it belongs                     Amazing app Jarexx

I really want to love this DAW The interface is awesome It LOOKS and like a professional recording tool and it s the only one that really makes the large screen on the 12 9 iPad Pro useful It s the most logical layout out there I can work efficiently with it all fingers It s a solid MIDI implementation for a traditional style DAW on iOS The FX and channel strips are top notch I love PSP and Fab products It sounds GREAT Here comes the big but BUT there are serious fundamental usability issues Basic basic basic things are totally bugged out Working with AU synths and MIDI just dragging some tracks up or down to organize them and adding a new track between two others TOTALLY ruined a song The MIDI got mixed up with different instruments All of the preset selections that I had tweaked got deselected I had to go back and reselect the correct instruments and presets for the tracks and lost all of my tweaks that I spent a bunch of time on getting just right Nothing is more frustrating than when a DAW F s with your MIDI or instrument settings when it s not supposed to or when you lose stuff for ANY reason whatsoever Forget about doing anything like tweaking MIDI notes sections while it s playing it glitches everything out so it s always stop tweak listen stop tweak listen The transport curser is wonky in that double tapping back to get to the start of the track or marker results in a sort of fast choppy rewind I would very much prefer if it just jumped to beginning immediately There is no PUCH IN recording That really hurts These may sound like small complaints and to a guitarist or singer they would be but for technical work like electronica these issues seriously put a crimp in the creative process and make work down right infuriating sometimes I ve used every DAW EVER made I think on PC MAC iOS even back to Amiga I really feel this is a gem but it needs some serious polish I want SO badly for it to run smoothly without glitching and freaking out I remember watching Cubase evolve version to version and it wasn t until v3 something that Steinberg had this kind of stuff sorted very well so I know it s probably not easy I have high hopes for this DAW but I STRONGLY urge the developers to give heavy priority to work on usability of existing features over adding anything new at this point             Amazing potential PLEASE fix it Petoire

This is the closest thing to a desktop DAW available for iOS It s got an amazing set of features for an iOS app The mixer and sequencer sections are optimized to fit and utilize the screen real estate of the 12 9 iPad Pro That s great BUT none NONE of the instruments are optimized for the 12 9 iPad Pro So that means that using the keyboard drum pads on the instruments is nearly impossible Customer service has responded to my query about optimizing for the iPad Pro 12 9 They say that they re working on changing the UI of Lyra the sampler but have no info on progress towards updating FabFilter Twin 2 arguably the best instrument and FabFilter One will likely not be recieving any update There is no way to know the progress of IAP downloads There is a window that says they ve been restored and to wait for them to download but no indication of thier progress Apps which should work with InterApp Audio do not work notably Samplr             Instruments Not 12 9 iPad Pro Optimized SkyMakai

This app may be good just super frustrated with the customer service never got an answer You have to log in in to their forums that by the way are not getting you much help And the login is a pain cos you have to be authorize by the administrator and takes 24 hrs or so and then still will not recognize u as user and u have to star the process all over again My app makes noises in the recording a lot of noise have record in garage band and no noises at all so my interface and cable and iPad are fine extremely frustrated no answers from them     Bad Vittilioo

The bottom line is Auria and Auria Pro are the closest you can get to desktop DAW performance in an app It s features functionality and quality provide everything you need to track and mix songs in a manner similar to the workflow of desktop DAWS There are of course a few tradeoffs but they are minor to account for the desktop vs tablet recording format I can t say enough about Auria Pro I haven t completely given up my desktop DAW but I can see a future where that is a real possibility This app is easily worth 3 times what paid for it and I consider the asking price an absolute bargain                     Auria Pro HardwareSynthGuy
