Calibre Companion (CC), recommended by calibre developers, is three applications in one: - a superb device-based calibre library organiser - a high-performance WiFi-based calibre device emulator - a calibre content server and cloud provider client (Dropbox and Microsoft ...
Connected one time via content server never wirelessly Update IOS and could never get it to connect again Buyer beware Do not purchase for IPad usage     Will not work with IPad gasawdust
Love how I can pull books from calibre to my iPad so easily and quickly                     Easy LaliqueEver
Connect iPad to computer Load iTunes Transfer EPUB Easy Or set up content server Easy This app does the same thing except in a much more complicated and confusing way There is really no point to this app and it brings no value to the transfer sync process     The app does nothing WhiskeyBolt10
Says added a book but can t see it on iBooks I can add with just the Calibre server and Chrome browser         iPad 2 not working Lkfotos.net
I have been using CC for a while on my iPad and iPhone and it has worked without flaw in the past but since IOS 11 came out it has been kind of glitchy It was offline for a while but now the update has made it compatible with IOS 11 it is working fine on my iPhone but still a few issues with iPad The app serves me well and I do recommend it for getting your books from calibre to your preferred device                 version 1 3 1 buggy on ipad DsrtTrkr
Doesn t work with Apple cloud drive     Doesn t work with Apple cloud drive Roxalina2
Just trying to add my library to an iPad and so far having a hard time understanding the program The Calibre on the computer says there isn t enough space even though I have only around a thousand books and the iPad has 100 GB for free             Not very easy to use Humanistitch
Great way to access your Calibre library while away from your computer So far I haven t found any problems with it I especially appreciate the flexibility of ways to connect For many people I think the wireless connection options would be great but because I don t usually have Calibre running and don t have a static IP to connect do using the Cloud option to access my library stored on Dropbox is perfect Additionally of course purchasing this very reasonably priced program is a way to support Calibre s developer who has been providing us the main program for free all these years                     Fantastic Glenn in AZ
Very simple to use Calibre is such a great program if you have a lot of ebooks and this program puts your whole Calibre library at your fingertips I m giving 5 stars because it does what it does perfectly and I love what it does                     Essential addition to Calibre Steve Karam
Currently there s no way to search your Calibre library stored in the cloud If that feature was added I d give it 5 stars             Good app but needs search capability for libraries Disgusted201111
I was looking for a way to send my ebooks from my Linux pc to my iPad and this app worked instantly I noticed that the books need to be in mobi format so I am now converting them in Calibre Thank you to the maker of this app                     It works perfectly Kiddles-McKlinsky
Have spent an hour and a half and still can t connect to Calibre on my PC Sigh         Would probably love it if I could only connect SandyKHo
I ve been waiting for this to come to iOS for quite some time Glad that it is here I love that I can access my Dropbox based Calibre from anywhere now Since I even catalogue paper books in Calibre I now have a solution to seeing what books I own even while away from home                     Great way to see your Calibre library Rickdob
It took me a while to figure it out but once I did I m so happy with it It is exactly what the name says it is the perfect COMPANION to the desktop Calibre app My books are organized and synced across all my devices and computer Love it                     Love this app ATEP11
Figured out what was going on with the sync First time you sync the read column make certain the sync from calibre to CC toggle is enabled otherwise it may wipe your read column on calibre                 Fixed NickRandomNick
Calibre Companion is an app designed to allow you to carry your Calibre ebook library on your iPad The big thing to remember is that Calibre is the master version so it s not a replacement of Calibre but rather a companion to it It will sync such things as if a book is read but uses the meta data from Calibre and will download any updates to the metadata from Calibre when it synces up It is not a reading app but rather a ebook library repository that passes the individual ebook to your preferred ebook reader such as Marvin Kindle or MapleReader It does a very good job of syncing with Calibre and making it easy to find books to read It really works nicely for how I manage my ebook library                     Does what I need it to pw8
I started using Calibre to organize my e books when I realized how unreliable iBooks was Calibre is great Calibre Companion allows you to download books to your iOS device and preserves the meta data that is loaded into Calibre for each E book However Calibre Companion is not a reader when you want to read the book it will upload it to the reader of your choice I have two wishes for this software which is obviously brand new 1 Make Calibre Companion capable of reading epub pdf cbr cbz by itself I would prefer to get rid of my other iOS book readers and not use iBooks 2 Allow options for easier downloading from the content server such as downloading multiple books at a time or downloading an entire series of books at a time Calibre is great so I m hoping Calibre Companion will continue to evolve             Works but could use more features American_Desi
