I love this app I knew I wanted to change a few characteristics of how the lights operate windows operate and the locking procedure for the car I was able to change much more than I anticipated through the app and the supporting Carista adapter Recently this new update came out claiming that you can change the volume for the stupid sound aktor device Vw Audi uses and while most features added to the app work with my car this one doesn t seem to even show up as an option to change I m even able to change the torque steer compensator so while the app has tons of features some may claim to be compatible with your car but not functional I ll do 5 stars if the devs can fix the issue or come out and specify which models of Vw Audi get the sound aktor ability EDIT function doesn t apply to my vehicle 5 stars added 2015 VW GLI gen 3 ea888 3 AtlGli

Just bought a new Prius but was annoyed by the reverse beep Ordered a Vgate iCar II wifi version from Amazon and got sameday shipping for a total of about 50 Downloaded Carista and unlocked Pro for 20 Problem solved for less than 100 You could whine to your dealers service advisor every time you want to tweak something or just DIY and easily put it back again the next day if you change your mind Just note what the original settings were There is no factory defaults button Also works on a variety of other makes and models You can get a feel of whats possible before purchase by reading the sample screens Works with 2015 Toyota Prius

I own a RossTech cable but this app is a lot more convenient to use on short notice or for quick adaptations Keep up the great work Does what it says on the tin

I used this with a WiFi sensor and it read me all my codes I was also able to email those codes to myself so that I could research them Works great

Works as advertised and is a great alternative as opposed to spending hundreds on VCDS software For the average person who doesnt need the intricate side of VCDS Excellent

This app worked perfectly It worked with my generic OBD2 wifi sensor and it gave me the trouble codes It doesnt even just give you the numerical code it also tells you what that code means So I was very happy with it all around I just wish it also could give me real time diagnostic information like the dynamic parameters and such but thats a picky complaint for a free app Finally a good free one

I was also a beta tester and have a 2014 Toyota Prius and the application allowed me to customize settings the dealer didnt know about or wanted to have me set up a tech appointment to change like the annoying backup constant beeping Beep once and let me pay attention to backing up vs beepbeepbeep This application is designed for looking at the codes on your vehicle or for changing all of the custom settings that you have and you would be amazed at how many you might have Definitely worth the money for the hardware and software if they cover your vehicle Great Application for all of your custom settings

I was looking for an app to read my OBD codes on my older 1996 car with my Kiwi WiFi I have some paid apps but they were not working Downloaded a bunch of other apps Carista connected to my car automatically Read the OBD codes I reset them Perfect This is all with the basic app my car and OBD adapter are not supported by the Pro Package Works

I bought the Carista OBD adaptor and downloaded the app It did not work at all with my 2012 Leaf and when I tried to save a setting for my 2015 Prius it asked for 1995 to download the app extension Im returning the unit Its not that I cant afford the 20 Its just that I dont want to support this kind of business practice Not very useful

I wanted to love this app it just wouldnt work for me I bought the appropriate hardware I tried to get it to work multiple times I WANT to pay 20 to unlock Pro features but the app wont let me support from the developer has been minimal I reached out multiple times and got limited response that indicated that the developer did not really read my email and then subsequent emails were met with stone silence no follow up whatsoever if it worked as advertised it would be great as it is now it is nonfunctional its too bad developer I gave you multiple chances why not do the right thing and follow up limited app support Be Careful

This free app works fine on my iphone 6 with the 17 ieGeek WiFi OBD 2 I only need it to find out when our 2005 Nissan will pass smog due to the O2 sensor not ready warning We have driven it for a month now since I changed the battery and have to keep going back to smog stations or Nissan dealer to find out if it has got enough drive time at various speeds on it yet There is no other way to get this info The service light does not come on as all the smog equipment is fine This is a new requirement in California as of 2 months ago that the O2 sensor must show ready There is a nearly impossible and dangerous driving schedule in LA required to get the ready warning to reset at the back of the Altima users manual Apparently all newer cars have this feature now Oxygen Sensor Not Ready warning on 2005 Nissan Altima

After unlocking the pro features the app enabled me to configure some settings on a 2010 Toyota Tundra using a WiFi ELM 327compatible OBDII adapter It did exactly what I wanted it to do Exactly what I wanted

I bought the specialized Bluetooth adapter to make sure I could fully test the app First off if you dont have a vehicle supporting customization then this seems to be a generic code scanner Fortunately I dont have any codes to read but I wanted to see if there was any live data No such luck There is no way to get additional data about performance There is a add on purchase but I cant see details as to what functionality will be added Overall it does work just limited It did take about 20 seconds to check for any codes and almost a minute to come back and tell me there was nothing to customize on my vehicle Slow limited performance

I beta tested this app with my Audi A4 B8 and I would have to say that its THE BEST OBD2 app on iOS by far Also the inapp purchase is totally worth it Costs much less than having to buy an OBD2 scanner anywhere else Best OBD2 App for Audi scanning and customization

I was hesitant when I came across this Being a long time VW owner with over 5 cars from VW I knew that there was VagCom but that is expensive and confusing I stumbled across this and all I can say is WOW It really works and is not a gimmick I purchased a wifi elm327 from Amazon and plugged it in and it worked just like I expected I have a 2015 VW Passat and was able to enable some of those features the MFG just doesnt enable like remote window control from the FOB Hope for more cars and customization for mine but great app and simple to use Wow It works

I just got my Carista OBD adapter and couldnt wait to try it I have a 2014 VW Jetta S bare bones It doesnt have a control panel like my previous VW and I couldnt turn off the horn beep when locking the car The dealer said they couldnt do it because it was written into the alarm code I was hoping that even though I had a base model car that this would work Carista allowed me to turn off the beep and alter a few other settings like rolling the windows updown using the remote I only wish I had more options in my car so I could do more It does what the dealer said they couldnt do

This was well worth the 20 to get rid of the backup beep on my 2015 Prius It also let me customize the door locks and remote functions It worked very well without any issues I really like the fact that I can read fault codes on any of my cars now Works as advertised

I got this app for turning off the backup and seat belt chimes in my 2015 prius v It worked great with my wifi OBD II plug Plus I found a while bunch of other customizable options on my car Oh yeah did I mention its an OBD II code reader add well Simple but useful

When running program in order to effect a change one must make an in App purchase of 1999 After making the purchase I found that Apple was sent 215 and Pay Pal was billed for 3245 That 3460 is a far cry from 1999 So unless you are willing to spend 3460 instead of 1999 my advice is look elsewhere for 3500 you can get a much better program It was given four stars because the program does work but it is questionable if this is a 3500 program Overcharged when making in APP purchase
