CU Transit

This is a simple welldesigned and feature filled CUMTD app This is how the rest should be made I gave up on transit apps for ChampaignUrbana after I discovered they were all pretty bad and just stuck a web link to the CUMTD website on my springboard This however is my new go to app for buses I have an iPod Touch 4G especially like how it has the Stopwatch codes stored already I cant tell you how many times Ive needed a Stopwatch code reference while stranded in a nowifi zone You can also view a route map for each bus that is superimposed on Google Maps and not just CUMTDs rather messy bus route maps and you can even see where a bus is on the superimposed map Albeit the bus location updates sporadically See below A few suggestions and comments for the developer Perhaps display the Stopwatch code for stops on the Bookmark list Alphabetical ordering of the Bookmark list would be nice I dont know if this is CUMTDs issue or one with the app but the current bus location pin when viewing a route map tends to only update every minute no matter how many times the refresh button is pressed Again this might be a limitation presented by CUMTDs GPS system and not an issue with the app itself                 Best CUMTD app yet

I use this app every day I love the map to see where the bus is compared to my stop                 Every day usage

Ive come to rely heavily on this app and it does not disappoint After using a few different apps for getting around CU this one stuck out for its reliability and timely updates                 My goto for navigating CU

This app is much better than Illini Bus and it is also more reliable The update looks great on iPhone 6 and I am very happy with it                 Amazing app

I used the official stops app for over a year When I found this app I knew it was a winner compared to the crappy cutmd app Location features favorites trip planning and even maps and schedules you can access online make this a must have app It is even better than some of the other paid apps                 Great must have

This app works on or off wificellular data since there is a tab of the route maps Other apps were either incomplete for trip planning or wouldnt cooperate when loading a bus arrival off wifi                 Worth the 99

PLEASE whoever makes this app make it so its possible to schedule trips out more than 1hr in advance That would be sooo worth the 99cents This app is a wonderful help with the buses and I love that they have GPS tracking real time But the free app does the same stuff              Just get the free app

If you dont want to miss a bus this is the app you want It SHOWS and updates the latest LOCATION OF A BUS easily and quickly I just wish the app had an option to view a satellite preferably a hybrid view of map                 Simply THE BEST CUMTD app you will ever find

Have been using it past three weeks to learn the bus system Very helpful to save and see next departures Also like the route info and see the route plus your position on the map Main issues are no system map and the trip planner appears to be broken right now with apples new maps              Very good app

This app does not help plan a trip I tried entering two addresses and it couldnt recognize any of them I even tried the Illini Unions address and it failed as well     Horrible app

This is definitely the best option of all the CUMTD apps Ive been using this for 3 years and it hasnt let me down yet                 Best choice for CUMTD

I have tried all of the bus stop apps for MTD and this is the best by far I have used Mu favorite for sure                 Great

Any time Id click on a stop it would say there was no scheduled stops look ahead 60 minutes didnt bring anything up either How am I supposed to know when to catch the bus I want     Something Must Be Broken

Whether youre just looking up departure times or need to get home from and unfamiliar part of town CU Transit is there for you This is a solid app that fits right in on iOS 7                 Excellent Tool for Getting Around Campus

I never usually review apps but i think this app deserves a 5star review This is the best app for MTD It has all the infotmation that the website has So cool                 Simple yet the best

This app is the easiest way to ride MTD buses As long as MTDs servers are running you can get all the bus times And the favorite page let quick access to bus stops                 Great

Very nice app I bookmark the stops I frequently use and I get very accurate departure times Not good for routing at all I use google maps transit routing and then this app to check the accurate timings Very good overall              Very good App

Overall decent app and developer keeps it up to date fairly regularly which is very important as the routes and schedules for CU MTD change frequently The only change I would make would be to have the map default to your current location              Good app for getting around CU
