Decibel 10 turns your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch into a professional sound meter, precisely measures the sound pressure level all around you. This extremely useful and beautiful tool will not only be a great ...
The app is ok what would like to see what db a ambulance automobile etc so that what is considered normal so I can make a determination to avoid certain common every day noises or not           NA
This a great app We were in a Resturant that was so loud it felt it might be if there harmful I downloaded this app and sure enough it measured off the scale The average was 110db very bad for your hearing If there were kids with us we would have left I bought this mainly to protect my grandsons                 Great app for determining sound environment
This app works ok but it shows way too many ads and sometimes video ads which you can only skip in several seconds This is unacceptable uninstalled           Video ads is the major downside
This app is amazing seniors may talk at damaging volume in Dbs without knowing it I talk at 95 Dbs damaging I can retrain myself to speak at 70 Dbs that my son speaks with this app                 Old seniors
It is                 Awesome
Okay free version is more than annoying Worth 99 cents to get rid of the ads Very fast response times looks like 60 framessec Love sharing live images and readings on FB Being noise aware and protecting your hearing is vital              Great app Be hearing aware
Got this because of noisy neighbors Works great when they realize there will be a record for the cops Accuracy is not a big issue              Great to back up complaints
Whenever I try to reset the maximum reading the program generates a click noise That sound is picked up by the meter at 75 DB So you cannot ever reset the maximum reading below 75 DB which is a definite design flaw        Annoying click
We have competitions on who can be loudest my 5 yr old son got it up to 104db I narrowly beat him by attaining 105 It seems like it may be impossible to get it up to 110                 Lots of fun with my fam
Excellent                 Does what I need
Had some issues with sound being to loud during service and this tool help tremendously                 Great for church
This App works like a charm I can detect deceptively loud conditions to protect my own hearing plus it makes a line in the sand for noisy kids Works on iPhone and iPad Very elegantly simple interface                 Calibrate Loud from Soft and Save Your Ears
Works great                 Its free so
I wear hearing aids Got this app to help me with at what decibels I can hear clearly What an eye opener I found that I hear very well with the aids But found that my wife talks to me at a very low 40 decibels it has helped me show her graphically how low she talks Love this app                 Great
Im sure that the 20 app has a lot more features but if youd like to just see how noisy it is around you this should suit you just fine                 Good free app
I dont need a professional reading this is handy and plenty accurate for amateur use Funny that some people are criticizing its accuracy when they clearly dont know what a correct reading would look like Even a whisper quiet library shouldnt be at zero more like 30 dB                 Fun and interesting
HERE Heres the review Good tea nice house Now stop asking for a review every 5 mins Bought the add free too Why Because Im stupid A              Pretty good
I compared this app on my iPad to a hand held dB meter I got the same reading Its a great app for the money                 Great app for money
I dont know how accurate it is but works and you can use it as a reference                 Works
I use this all the time for my church worship band We have a legal sound limit because of our pesky neighbors so this helps me make sure were not too loud                 Great app
Great app except for exceptionally loud ads           Ads too loud
I just down loaded it and it is doing exactly what I need it to do Simple to use and to understand                 So far so good
Am glad I got it Comparing noise levels before and after window replacements                 Works great
Very effective                 Great program
This helps determine the level of noise we are exposed to Handy app for phone              Grub
Yes this uses the built in iphone microphone Derpa hurp duh That means there is always an inherent limit of expected quality because of the hardware of the device being used This app does not try to make any claims that this software is somehow more accurate than the limits of its platforms hardware That will never be possible so I dont know why people are criticizing the app because of known device hardware limitations This app was exactly what I expected except of the added bonus of displaying SPL differences over a time domain I wouldve been happy with just a numerical decibel reading but this app includes a measurementovertime feature as well as a pauseplay button for examining a specific volume at a specific moment This app is great it works great and the interface makes sense If youre looking for scientific measurement of specific frequencies that your device hardware is unable to pick up with clarity you should stop trying to use an iPhoneiPad ya dingus and invest in a decent microphone preamp and recording software with accurate loudness measurement plugins This app is perfect for the iPhone and its limited microphone Anyone complaining about this is clearly drunk and should just go home already                 Everything the app promises to be
So far so good Ads are not intrusive Consistent and accurate enough to be fun Not using it professionally but it gives readings which seem to accurately reflect subtle differences in sound level                 Works well for me
This app is pretty good I use it to get a general idea of how loud a room is The software is surprisingly responsive to the actual sound environment              Nice
I cannot speak to the accuracy of the meter but it is useful for comparing sound environments and will alert you to when you need hearing protection Nice interface and easy to operate              Useful
Easy to use and handy Just downloaded to figure out sounds from my party All is good                 Nice App
Not bad              Free
It just stopped Why     Quit
I have no issue with ads but this app was basically unusable due to horribly annoying ads Every action gives a loud ad The ads cannot even be silenced by the mute button I brought this into a meeting to test background noise and got a very very loud ad even with the mute on     Unusable due to ads
Just downloaded this app but havent had much of a chance to see what all it will do because Im too busy closing ads to play with the app itself Jeez Not sure if I will keep it or not For someone like me who despises advertising its not looking too promising        Ads ads adsugh
As long as you accept that this app provides an indication of sound pressure level and that it is not a certified device what could be better It works              Helpful tool
I downloaded 5 different apps all have various levels of difference but this one is 10db higher then the other 4 Deleting App     Accuracy
Perfect for my needs                 The basics
The camera function incorporating the reading into the picture is cool Fun app for relative measurements In anything work related you would need something calibrated and NIST traceable but great as a first check tool                 Great APP
As a DJ I use a decibel meter all the time with sound checks This app is remarkably on par with the meter Ive used for over a decade and payed a lot of money for                 Good stuff
Does not really give an accurate reading           Ok
Cumpre bem a proposta                 Da melhor qualidade
good app              good app
Have used it in many situations to avoid high sound levels                 Excellent app
This is a handy accessible tool that quickly illustrates for too often the very noisy world we live in Including the standard table of A rated exposure limits from OSHA would be useful              Useful and Fun
Anything you click turns on ads in the free program Shotty as heck     All ads
Works perfectly              Great apps
I have a professional meter but if I have to take a rough estimate I use this meter              Very handy
Easy to understand and use              Very useful
