DirectVR Touch Remote

This app is good but the fact that the creators forgot to add volume buttons is ridiculous Add one and I will be 100 happy with this purchase as for right now Im finding this very frustrating        Volume

It works but only sometimes It says check that you IP address hasnt changed and it hasnt And that your connected to your own wifi network which we are and it still says that it cant connect I close the app and reload it and nothing helps Its very frustrating I use this app because my regular remote broke and rather than pay to replace it and for shipping which is outrageous I use this Please fix this Its really annoying        Has glitches

Our remote went out with a long holiday weekend ahead I decided to risk 99 cents on this one and it works Not as functional as the regular remote but better than a blank screen              Worked for me

I like good idea but ur recover needs wifi connection which I dont have so its basically pointless                 Good but

If your other receivers other than your main wont give you the IP address from NetWork Setup which it says You cannot make changes to Network Setup from this location Simply go to Settings HelpSettingsInfo TestServer System InfoIP Adress Which is should be towards the bottom if you scroll down Hope this Helps                 FOUND SOLUTION FOR GENIE

UPDATE I wrote to the developer of this app They were quick to respond and fix the family share downloading I have up the star rating to 5 stars Best app for Direct TV Ive used I use it much more than the regular DTV remote I really like this Direct TV remote I dont have to have my phone in the exact right place for it to work like with the Direct TV remote After initial setup the app just worked like its suppose to Easy setup also What makes this app 3 stars is the other person on my shared account can not download the app They can see and download all other apps I have purchased and I can do the same with theirs Just not this app I will give 5 stars ifwhen the app is downloadable for others on shared accounts                 Shared App Now Works

The app seems fine and written decently if you are comfortable with networking addresses The problem is that your receiver will not support this without paying a Whole Home subscription No thanks        App only works if your have DirectTV Whole Home subscription

Do not buy unless you have an HD receiver and pay for HD channels The standard DirectTV receivers do not have an IP address and wont work Wish this app would refund the money since they failed to mention this in their description Big thumbs down     WARNING Do not buy unless

How do I do it on the genie device When you go on network setup it says that you cannot make changes to network setup from this location        GENIE

This app is great for when it works The issue is getting it to work and not crashing my phone If I leave this app open and laying next time it will popup a warning it cant find my receiver and I need to make sure it is connected And then another Popup a few seconds later and then another and another If I do not close them out immediately they will continue to stack After 5 minutes or so there are so many it will freeze my phone and cause it to crash But when I can get it to work it works great        Great When it works

Come on people read the description first It plainly says that its IP control No need to give a low rating because you failed to read That being said it works great on my Genie system Two things first it would be nice if this were full screen because it lacks the tactile feedback of a real remote When it scrolls you can lose your finger position Second for the same reason as above some sort of button feedback would be nice either click or short buzz                 It just works

Tried lite version and it worked Then did paid version to get more remote functions and it worked for only a few days before stating now not compatible and wont work I want my money back     No longer working

Positive When it works it works well and i enjoy it Negative It loses the IP Address often and stops working and will not accept when you try to reload it Very aggravating that you have to uninstall reinstall and then wait days before it works again           Only works half of the time

With 4 kids we were always hunting for lost remotes No more I downloaded the free lite version first to make sure our receiver was compatible per the instructions Once I was confident it worked I bought the full version So nice Its always at hand its backlit and our phones are a lot more likely to have a charged battery than the physical remote Why didnt I get this ages ago                 Awesome

This app is great And it works If you have wifi the newer receiver and can follow BASIC directions No there will never be a volume addition because on the app it says clearly that the IPhone does not have the hardware for it so dont ask Ignorance low ratings just saying                 So

I downloaded it and did everything right but it wont connect It tells me my receiver isnt compatible However I know my receiver is compatible with wifi remotes because my husband uses an app on his phone and it works perfectly     Waste of money

So far Im happy with this app I have noticed some problems under the bookmark section it doesnt find the channel you are looking for and then the keyboard wont go away so you have to restart the app But other than that everything seems good I like the help section it really helped me set this remote up to work with my tv              Not bad

Says it was made for ios 7 but is still has the original remote Other than that it is working like a charm              Plz fix look

I have tried to use this app in the past and I still have the same problem I cant find my IP Address I have tried some of the other reviews suggestions and they have almost worked but most of the options to choose do not show up on my screen Please help if someone can It sounds like a good app but I cant get it to work           Where do I find my IP Address

Our Directv remote died so I thought Id look for an app while waiting for the new remote I had this app set up and working in about three minutes Not sure Ill even worry about using my replacement remote since this app works tremendously                 Great app
