Once you have everything imputed into the computer adding a new dive is über simple                 Dive log rocks

Such a great app to use between all the ways to track and group dives gear activities locations its incredibly useful Great UI and functionality What drove this app for great to awesome is the level of support and pride the developers show in their work I had a minor inconvenient issue that was addressed quickly and the follow up was unbelievable There might be free apps that does a few of the things this app does but for the price and service its well worth the asking price I only see this app getting better Well done and I am a very satisfied customer Nothing in the app store comes close                 Great App already even better support

This works flawlessly with the Mac Dive program I use to upload my dives from my Oceanic Pro Plus 21 Information flows seamlessly between my Mac and iPhone Seeing as how I keep my updated logs syncd I find that the nicest feature is being able to quickly access anything from bottom time to SAC rate for a particular dive within seconds                 Constant Use in Conjunction with Mac Dive

All around great app If youre looking for a quality log book this is it Its plain to see that everything in this app is thought through for example when listing repetitive dives it automatically calculates your preceding surface interval based on the lengthentry time of the previous dive In addition there are a lot of options to add personal details to the app such as certifications pictures GPS coordinates etc I highly recommend this app to any serious diver looking for a log book                 Outstanding App

I bought this app to have my dive log on hand with my iPhone and able to make changes as necessary it does all that and more I love it and will continue to use it                 Does What It Says

What they dont tell you is that to get your dive logs from your computer to your iPad you have to buy the desktop version for 35 euros currently 50     Misleading

You should be able to sync your iPad device and iPhone instead of many along entering the information twice Its just a waste of time        This could be a lot better

Good timing as I am leaving for Grand Cayman tomorrow The new iPad enhanced retina support is really noticeable The text is much clearer to my ever aging eyes I cant seem to edit the default logbook name however Not sure if the previous version had the same issue but I started adding dives and just noticed that everything is under Unknown Name It would be nice to either change that name or have the ability to transfer dives between logbooks assuming I have to create a new one with my name There is standard Apple icon in the app that suggests the ability to share dives but it appears to only be tied to Twitter I have seen that icon in other apps tied to both email and SMS communication as well Finally I would like to suggest the capacity to add photos to individual dives This will be my third trip to Cayman and the ability to see as opposed to only read in my notes the changes on dive sites or the shape of the reefs over time would be nice              Stable a few issues though

I go this program to use with my iPhone iPad iMac and a iPad Mini What can I say I hook up my Mares Icon HD and down load my dive put in the information and poof like magic its one everyone of my devices No more taking log books with you on vacation Simply bring your phone or iPad You can even upload pictures of your cert cards I personally do not have anything bad to say about this program at all I love Dive Log So will you                 What a great program for diver who use a Mac

I dont know what more you could ask for in a dive log app and it syncs great with the windows diving log 50 Yes you have to pay for those other PCMac software programs but diving stuff is usually expensive and these programs are relatively cheep for the hard work the program developers have put into them Over the years I have run into bugs etc in both Diving log 50 and this app I believe both are written by different people and I have always got great feedback from both it helps if you given them supporting documentation so they can find and fix the issue Best part is they actively improve their programs                 Great app and well worth the price

Dive Log 5 on the PC reads the Veos data and creates log entries and I fill in anything thats missing A couple of clicks and its in Dive Log on the iPhone The profiles look great and I like how the the dive buddies ties to the phone contact list Organizing scans of your ccards is a nice touch also Dive Log is worth the price of admission                 Worth the price

Well as a 46 year old diver whos has been diving since 1990 a large percentage of my dives are entered is paper logs Although I use a computer on some of my more recent dives I still like to go old school and do without I purchased this app thinking Id be able to log the hundreds of dives I made before the age of dive computers but it would appear this is not an option But nowhere did I see that this was the case before spending my money This said I am not impressed     Not Impressed

I love this app It syncs with my Suunto and backup to the cloud easily and across devices Id really like to see a feature allowing me to track OTUs after a dive along with CNS                 Superior Log App

This is a great app Ive used it since the palm treo days and love it on the ipad and iPhone and my computer Enter extra data and sync to all my iOS devices best part is the look on peoples face at the dive club meeting keep up the outstanding work love it                 great app

A perfect replacement or back up to my dive computers log book or my paper log book I have logged about 75 dives in this app so far and overall I am very happy I have thought there would be ways to tweak the way information is entered but would need to think about it more to make a worthwhile recommendation Love that you can sync the log between computer and mobile devices Dont mind that you have to wait until you are on wifi                 Best Ive seen great digital log book

Does not merge with program on computer from iPhone Non user friendly Dive computer does not download like they say it does to the program This gets a big thumbs down     Waste of money

As I said I was very impressed with this tool Sure its a bit expensive as far as apps go but worth every penny I gotta tell you I tried lots and lots of dive log apps this one is great Logs my dives logs places Ive been before so when I revisit them all the info is there Beware tho while it does sync nicely with iPad if you want to sync with PC youll have to buy the 35 PC program the trial only logs 10 dives                 Very Impressed

I have been using this app for a few years now and loved it as it has supported my Uwatec Luna However after this recent update my Luna no longer downloads dives Do Not update if you use a luna or Galileo     Broke uwatec support

This is a great App Ive been using it almost since my first OW class in Feb and have logged all 44 dives on it I also sync it with my PC version that hast dive computer downloads There is some manual maintenance that is required for that piece but the programs great overall Very easy to use                 Great App Syncs easily with my PC version Very satisfied

This is one the best app for scuba diving love how they are always making updates Works perfectly on my iPad 2 and iPhone Keep up the great work guys                 Works perfectly

The app allows you to put as much detail about the dive as you want If you want you can include a photo gps coordinates dive site name depth temperature etc It syncs easily with the petral If you sync with the petral all your information comes across and even includes a graph of the dive You can have the dive master electronically sign your log The only problem I have had is with syncing between iPad and iPhone I contacted customer support and got a long and detailed response Now the sync works fine For the price of a manual log book how can you not try it              Petral compatible

Great app use it all the time The only thing you need to have Is a back up screen Like if I get a new phone I have all my dives on the new device Otherwise its a great app and well worth it                 Love it but

Logged 14 dives in 6 days The gps worked great to create sites and the template function made logging new dives easy Really worth buying Also synced fine with my Mac Suggest calculating statistics by sub categories in addition to al dives For example total dive time by buddyislandsite or deepest dive by buddy etc                 Worked great

This app has all the features you want and is very customizable You can also get your dive buddy to sign your log entry with their finger You can create dive templates so that if you make 2 or 3 repetitive dives you dont have to enter all the info twice Plenty of space for comments and notes Calculates your air consumption Syncs well with computer and dive computer Every serious diver should have this app                 Amazing SCUBA tool

Personally I love this app its very easy to use and I love that you can add photos from your iPhone But it is missing some stuff and it could be designed a little better Overall great app              Good start but could uses a hand

Bought this app a long time ago and it keeps getting better and better Dev keeps giving it the love enhancing the UI and adding new features iCloud support for log syncing is awesome Integrates well with MacDive on Mac Dev responds quickly to questions A top notch app                 Keeps getting better

I imported 83 dives and they are all out of order and numbered incorrectly Some are numbered twice and even three times so that it thinks I have 30 dives even though in another screen it says 84 because I cant remove the 1 example dive        Not impressed

Lost my dive data twice due to the apps sync issues I put a lot of time in trying to make this work but after the second sync error I deleted the app        Not worth the money

Works great with MACDive and it is great to have my logs with me to reference my dives Owning 3 suits and diving in fresh and salt water this is quick way to find what weights I used with my single or double setup Never had an issue losing data                 Great way to look up old dives on the fly

Buy the app but the process to get data from Dive Log on a Mac to this app is a bit confusing but it does work Once the data is imported to one device you can easily sync it to your other idevices Once its done its nice to have your logbook so accessible              Works but a little clunky with Macs

Everything looks ok but no matter how carefully I follow its instructions the app refuses to synch with my existing MacDive logs on my Air Waste of 14 unless youre a brand new diver and plan on using this as your only dive log program        Looks good but wont work

Love this app Its simple intuitive It has all the right info very easy to learn Its stable universal for iPhone or iPad I havent worked on syncing and all that yet but so far its awesome I had a question and emailed tech support and got a VERY fast helpful response too Great all the way around Worth every dime                 Great digital log book

THIS is the Dive Log app to own It is the be all end all of dive log apps You can store any info about your dive that you can imagine You can link your contacts as your dive buddies store dive sites shops statistics about your dives view your dive sites on a maps you name it this will do it Contrary to what the other reviewer wrote it easily syncs with the Dive Log software program on either your phone or iPad I assure you it is very very userfriendly You can access and input any information about your dive from one screen Accessing the other information is only one menu away at any time No it wont download from your dive computer to your phone or iPad but anyone like the other reviewer who expects this ought to be slapped upside the head for sheer stupidity You can get the most of it by owning the Dive Log software for your computer but it functions well as a standalone app on your phone or iPad                 Best Dive Log EVER

I love this app it allows for all I need to track and frees me from carrying physical log books Ccards around on my trips I use it on both my iPad and iPhone and have had no syncing issues as mentioned in some of the reviews My two suggestions to the publisher are i Allow to capture an image per dive not just dive sitethis may be prohibitive on space though which may be why this feature is not present ii It would be nice to see stats on a yearoveryear basis as well as by dive type eg of dives each year or of Fun dives vs Recovery dives vs Deep dives But these are more in the way of wish list type requestsall in all I love this app Kevin                 Great App

I love this log I love that it has a Mac desktop companion that one one of my biggest priorities when shopping for a log book However I dislike that the syncing method is through wifi With the syncing technology available through apple product today there is little no reason that syncing shouldnt be handled automatically through iCloud Aside from that this is an incredible log book app           Great product poor sync

Great tool for eLogging Syncs all my electronics iPadiPhone and PC Can upload directly from dive computer and add to logbook dives automatically It keeps track of all service dates to remind you when to get service on regs etc Set up on all three devices and dive computer took less than an hour                 Great Dive Log

Update Im told the developer of this app insisted on the sync happening over WiFi and not USB Im on a dive trip and the WiFi is predictably sketchy Nothing syncs at all and it takes hours to not do so Even when I use an adhoc network and replace the log nothing Seriously More Mobile sync over USB if you want to be a tool that can be used in the field Initial review It took a long time for me to get this since I found the lookandfeel ugly boringly default and the somewhat high cost for an app But more than once someone on a trip was raving about it I needed a new computer so I coordinated the purchases to enable as much seamless integration flawless connectivity and pleasing design as possible This Suunto and MacDive didnt quite live up to my hopes Pros Ambitious in scope and fairly complete for recreational divers if a little cumbersome in task flow I applaud the attempts in cooperation between Diving Log and MacDive and open standards such as UDFC Excellent Use last dive as template feature if Im diving on a liveaboard each and every dive will be nearly identical in most factors so this features makes entry very quick Cons Syncing is problematic some things do and other things do not sync eg no sync of personal info equipment lists etc UITableView default UI lookandfeel is very dull Doesnt yet utilize cloud services such as iCloud or Dropbox to give you the option of entering the data on either your iPhone or iPad and automating laptop sync It should clearly state somewhere prominent that syncing is NOT done over USB but via WiFi especially when there are error dialogs saying Could not find suitable serial interface which imply USB Its like the bones of a great piece of software Id love to see a designer and userinterface pro give it an appealing look and simplify tasks           So far its Okay

A great dive log for iOS Syncing between iPhone and iPad devices goes through iCloud and works well Its also a great way to keep several backup copies                 Excellent Dive Log

I have had this app for the last year and purchased if as a result of the dive log program its associated with I sync using my laptop and as others have mentioned noted that some items just refuse to sync properly requiring extra work Overall the program continues to develop and hopefully the near future it will be more intuitive Wish it would list noted dives within the Caribbean and US as a drop down option when entering Overall a good program that allows the user to keep close tabs on their dives              Good standard dive log

Needs to be more compatible with dive computers that are new to the industry Please add wifi download with the BlueBuddy from Divenav As a scientific diver I always use one Would love to use this app again but I find it time consuming to add my dives in one at a time A quick download from MyBuddy and this app would be my top choice once again Thanks           Okay app

This app is pretty good I just feel its missing some things and implements a few things in a weird way Location info is weird It asks for citystate and countryregion as data fields but dont associate them together So you can put in that you dove in Pensacola Florida and then choose from the drop down that you dove in Pensacola Russia Why not just use the same city state like the rest of the world It has signature slot but no other info tied to it No slot to mark if it was a master diver dive buddy space alien boat master etc or to put their diver number A lot of other little details that are weird and annoying its good enough software but not worth the price he is charging until its polished A LOT        Good BUT needs a lot of work

Great app A suggestion for improvement would be to add an option to reorder dives so that it will list them from the first dive to the last OR the last dive to the first so that the last dive is at the top of the list That would be my preference so I hope to see it soon              Rescue Diver

This app is pretty good for logging dives but please oh please enable some sort of cloud synch icloud or dropbox One cant be expected to enter every dive twice into iphone and then again into the iPad In this day and age this is a must for an iOS app that runs on multiple platforms              Pretty good but

Please add iCloud support so that my iPhone and iPad can share the dive logs seamlessly It also helps me ensure that I wont loose all my logs just by loosing a device                 iCloud support please
