This would be a 5 star app but after every software update it asks not once but twice to leave a review If you hit cancel it then brings another popup with an email for any requests Its really annoying when I go to use the app and have to close all these pop ups first Turn off all that or just add an option in settings to turn it off and this would be 5 star Contantly nags for reviews

This app nailed it It makes the Hue experience complete and should be used by anyone with one or more Hue products The grouping feature is fantastic and the widget addon is a must have addition This is an excellent application Kudos to the developer I will be recommending this app to everyone Bingo

This app was great before the latest update but now it is near perfect Configuring multiple presses on the hue tap is something I have been waiting on for a long time And the most configurable widget is now even better with single tap onoff and displaying state Phillips should just ditch their current efforts and just buy this app Seriously the official app is so lacking compared to this Best Hue app hands down

The only half useable app for managing your lights especially for truer color rendition on yellows and greens Still not perfect but MUCH better than anything else Best app for hue

I havent been able to get presets to be saved and transferred from one iDevice to another I have written several times to support and have yet to receive a reply Update it was my error The developer indeed answered my queries but they got caught in my spam box The other features work fine iCloud support seems iffy

After the update to the current version all my light groups are deleted and trying to readd them doesnt work as it doesnt save them when you leave the app This used to be a fantastic app and now its COMPLETELY useless Groups Gone

This app is great and the best think Ive found for controlling my hue lights The newly added widgets feature is a much needed addition and I cant see myself needing the phillips app ever anymore My only gripe is that there appears to be an issue with the iCloud sync on numerous occasions I have lost my presets associations to their groups I then have to save them again to associate with the correct groups A minor annoyance but my groups seem to get lost in purgatory fairly often I would love to see a fix for this on what is otherwise a perfect app Thank you for all your hard work Awesome app widgets near perfect

Love this app Its my favorite Hue app But since the new update the widget only lets me have access to the master switch unless I unlock the phone Doesnt that defeat the purpose of a widget Back to 5 stars when this gets fixed Love the app

Ive owned all of the major hue controllers This one beats them all by far Do yourself a favor and look no more None better

I love nearly every aspect of the app The only reason I give it four stars is because I wasnt able to reorder lights in their circle Otherwise the presets being a secondary feature unlike Philipss app with the ability to toggle each rooms lights individually is great I sent feedback to the developer who says reordering of sorts is coming so Ill revise my review to 5 stars then Very satisfied Total replacement for Philips app

Lots of power here to flex beyond what the default apps provide That can be very useful The problem I have is that the basic use cases for lights take so many steps that I just go back to the default app where it can be done in a single tap The app feels inverted Powerful things are simple simple things are complicated Powerful but Inverted

The interface is a bit different better in some ways but not in others But it doesnt seem to offer new features that would warrant the cost Youll have to buy separate versions for iPhone and iPad even though they seem to do the same things I though from descriptions online that this app would support setting timers based on sunrisesunset but thats not the case Not much different from the Hue app

Best app to have for your hue lights Period A few minor bugs with color representation on app but overall great Would be cool to add more transition programming similar to Waves App but really no complaints Must get Amazing

Grouping is a great feature Great app

Has potential but is useless After spending an hour setting up groups and light settings and presets I lost my groups and preset names several times even after rebooting phone and reopening app several times This quickly became frustrating as all of my work was lost even though I told it to save in the iCloud and on the bridge So although this app at first seemed like the answer to all of my problems it is now useless It even lose the settings in names while youre in the middle of the app using it Another issue is frequently after renaming a group you hit Done and the keyboard disappears Sounds fine except that the entire display shifts downwards and everything is off screen and inaccessible You have to close the app and reopen it to continue using it I have an iPhone 6 Plus running iOS 812 Very Frustrating

Works great I think this is a great app for creating groups and managing many Hue bulbs

No nags for me Have to say that this is the best app Ive used for controlling the Hue lights Well worth the Theres a little learning curve just because its so feature rich but once youve got your groups put together and some presets defined it is pretty awesome Couple bonus features to point out soft fade transitions when u want them assigning lights to multiple groups custom color palette Better than the Philips App

Most of the time Im not able to turn on or off the lights in my different rooms from the Apple Watch When I press the power button for a specific room it will not react I have to end up opening the app on the phone to turn onoff lights Fix the issues on Apple Watch

This app continues to get better and better with each update The addition of Apple watch features is outstanding I have a number of apps that work with my Hue lights This is my go to app and the one I recommend using The features this app offers is second to none and its super easy to use The developer responds to questions and suggestions very quickly If you have Hue lights look no further for an app to control them If you have an Apple Watch youll enjoy it even more Keeps getting better and better

Not only is the UI a confusing hot mess the app is expensive Pay for the app then pay for widgets then pay for remote access The UI is not intuitive and makes little to no sense Perhaps if I spend a lot of time with it I could make it work but Ill eat the cost and hope of saving the rest of you from wasting your money Not a good UI is thats not the worst part

I almost made my husband return the system as I found the Philips app too difficult to use Finding this app was a game changer I can finally get all of the bulbs we have 10 to be the same and can group the bulbs in a way that makes sense to me Well worth the money Easy to use

If you are somebody like me you would have thought that the regular Hue app is not that good This app makes everything that the Hue app did wrong 100 better Its got groups presets and so much more I actually had a lot of fun with this app using alarms and made lights do rainbow colors Overall this app is really good probably the best for Hue 5 Stars Awesome User Friendly Experience

This is becoming my favorite app because of its UI If you only have say 5 bulbs it might be confusing but I have six times that many in 5 rooms so the ability to simply select and copy a color and swipe it over other bulbs is fantastic Very visually pleasing and a much better color picker than Hue offers Changing brightness of only the bulbs you want is a big help Its like painting a room with light as opposed to using a picture to pick colors from Hue thats dumb I hope to see more updates on this app like support for Hue Tap and more animation support This is a DEFINITE keeper Best app for many bulbs

This is the best Hue Lights app out there I tried a bunch of Hue apps and was generally unhappy with the free ones I bit the bullet and bought this app and its great I also bought the Widget Editor and Id definitely recommend it to you There are a few bugs but the developer is quick to make a fix and respond to questions Most of the bugs seem to be associated with the Phillips bridge and its firmware GREAT

I use this as my main Hue controller since like the groupcentric approach better than that of the Philips app Groups and presets are readily available with just one or two taps So far has author has been quick to update the app for new hardware This is one of the few Hue apps with fully functional support for the Tap and it also supports Lux lamps One star off for a few minor UI design flaws eg the tiny tiny font on the lamps in the group view which makes it hard to pinpoint a specific lamp in a crowded group Better alternative

This by far my favorite watch app So useful continues to get better with fast updates The voice recognition is great especially when you have so many scenes that you can get lost Living room Mellow very easy Voice controlled lights

Got this app to use it with the Tap remote While it works ok the fading is a bit quirky It starts fading nicely then jumps suddenly to 0 Add the ability to fade between 2 colors instead of rainbow in a preset and 5 stars I use a light behind my fish tank and I use other apps to simulate water moving but those apps need to stay running Nice

Love the update this app is even better which I didnt think was possible An absolute must for any Hue owner Absolutely incredible takes the place of the stock Hue app for everything except software updates The widgets for the Notification Center are amazing I control my entire Hue system without even unlocking my phone and can turn on and off select presets see color bars adjust brightness etc I have bought all major Hue apps and this is the only one I really use all day long for standard control A must for all Hue owners Incredible Period

The Philips Hue app is lacking in many ways but especially when grouping your Hue lights it doesnt support groups iConnectHue handles groups and makes controlling your Hue lights very simple I am rather new to the app so I have not used all the features but changing themes brightness and colors is very quick and easy I recently had a chance to try the geofencing feature and it worked perfectly No more coming home to a dark house It also has a great widget that is fully customizable If I had one criticism it would be that it could use better documentation There are a few things in the program that I have questions about but I havent located the answers That said this is the best app I have found to control my Hue lights and it is worth every penny Just what I was looking for

Having failed to really get my bulbs to work with Philips Hue App I was delighted to find this It is logical easy to understand and its creator is very responsive to questions and suggestions A great App Very logical App

I have Hue bulbs in several rooms in my house bedroom living room nursery and office I also have several hue apps This one has the best UX by far Its easy to create and control light groups and set up presets for those groups One thing I like is adjusting the brightness of individual bulbs by swiping up and down on the icon You can also clone color and brightness from bulb to bulb by clicking and dragging It also made it easy to set up the tap switch I just bought It is occasionally glitchy when naming or renaming groups but its worth muscling through My favorite Hue app

Great app for controlling Hue Ive bought all the inapppurchases too which ADD UP FAST 1 For Notification Center widgets 2 For remote wifi access 3 For Apple Watch support 4 For iPad Notification Center widgets Are you serious Come on seems w little out of control LOVE THE FUNCTIONALITY but spent more on this app than most others Amazing but pricey

I have bought and tried every single hue control app on the App Store and none of them come close to the quality of this app It feels very high end especially when using it on an iPad Remote control is great setting timers is great control is great the widget is great the in app help is fantastic and control while away from home is great Buying the iPhone and iPad app separately as well as buying the in app purchases are more than worth it trust me Stop your search for the perfect hue controller and get this app Oh and iCloud support works perfectly fine between my iPhone and iPad despite another reviewers comment Entry price worth it This is the hue control app youve been looking for
