Wish it would allow direct input of density altitude Would be a time saver over having to input altitude pressure humidity separately Great app Tested to 1250 yards in last comp time for an update to include more calibers a like 416 Barrett 7mm Norma 338 edge Also would be nice if it allowed you to store load recipe notes under user projectiles And dont forget density altitude Not a big fan of the latest update Input screens are abbreviated for no apparent reason Distance calculator bombs every time I use it              Needs density altitude input

I installed the Engine Upgrade and now Isnip closes as soon as it starts up Not good after paying more money for the update You realy need to fix this        Crash when installing Engine Update

Unlike BreakInThings I use this app in longrange tactical precision shooting competitions out to 1600 meters Superb aid although nothing can match my log book reflecting thousands of rounds under varying environmental conditions But BreakInThings is correct an elevation offset would be helpful and keep me from manually doing the trig on those acrossthevalley shots when the target is at a substantially different elevation                 I use in competition

Wonderful tool with all the right input options and accurate calculations Main problem is that it is very difficult to change between MOA mildot inches etc Other apps I use are much quickereasier If they change that and make some of the other input points quicker to navigate it would be 5 stars           Good not great

This app is amazing I use it every time I go to the range which is weekly It is not just close but dead on I regularly shoot out to 500 yards With the adjustments it gives I can hit 16 oz water bottles at 400 yards on the first shot This app truly amazed me a couple days ago I had set up one gallon milk jugs at the 500 yard mark I was shooting a 223 AR15 that has a drop of 49 inches at that range I adjusted the scope with the information i snipe had given me and hit the first milk jug with the first shot This app is a must have for anyone who shoots Whether it be target or hunting Thanks for this app                 A Must Have

This app is 90 there but missing a few details to be a serious long range shooting tool needs an option for offset zero height needs different reticle and zoom options and zoom capability on the reticle screen 9mm projectiles are still missing from the database Over a year later 9mm projectiles are STILL missing Why              Well laid out but needs more development

This is a decent app for medium range shooters It gives you very basic ballistics solutions If you try to get weather info when you dont have a data connection The app will repeatedly notify you and become useless until you restart the app I would give this app another star if it included a data logging section To keep track of your shooting information           Has potential

This is the best app I have used for hunting to just plinking around It is awesome I used it to make a 145 yard shot on a deer this year with my 45 muzzleloader And used it another time to make a 500 yard cold bore shot Great app Love the fact that I can use it for my air rifle too                 Awesome app

I am an avid hunter and I take great pride in knowing EXACTLY where my bullet is going when I pull the trigger I dislike making creatures suffer I also hate chasing wounded boar through the swamps at night Watching them drop in their tracks is far more humane and a lot safer for me I have many rifles in calibers from 22LR up to 44Mag I do not shoot game a mile away or even 1000 yds away I live in more of a jungle environment in the SE USA Rarely is there a shot opportunity in excess of 200 yds This app has proven to be quite accurate in that realm and has saved me a lot of time and ammo at the gun range I have a rather complex spreadsheet that computes the ballistics for each caliber rifle that I own It also has my reticles contained within the spreadsheet For any sightin range that I pick the program populates the reticle labels with correct range that corresponds to the appropriate reticle mark Its an awesome tool but lugging all that printed data around in a spiral notebook is a real pain With this app I dont have to lug anything around Its all on my phone I have all of my rifle data stored in the cloud along with each cartridge that I use If the cartridge isnt in the iSnipe library I build my own custom bullet Its very simple to do using manufacturers data found on line The ballistics data from this app matches my spreadsheet almost exactly and both products accurately reflect the physical reality observed at the gun range I personally have no gripes about the app Ive read some reviews about the weather input not working Ive spot tested my weather input and it seems to work fine The temp does always reset to Celsius but that doesnt preclude using the app But honestly I dont use the weather input much Wind is the biggest factor And if its too windy I dont try to sightin any rifles nor do I try to hunt I have just two wishes 1 I wish it had an option to build userdefined reticles so that various scopes could be selected just like guns and cartridges can be mixed and matched now Right now I have to store my spreadsheet reticle data as photos on my phone It would be far better to have that reticle data stored within the app so that I could change it as required 2 Id also like to see a straight line added to the bullet path curve that represents the muzzle angle Singleshot zeroing can become a reality with that simple addition BTW Thanks for adding the OPBZ calculation in a past update I use that feature all the time Great work on this app Keep the upgrades coming                 I Love This App

I really like it Ive used it out to 925 yards and it is spot on as long as you put all the necessary inputs in Multiple ranges firearms loads and options for mil or moa make it very flexible                 Works great

This app is awesome Pre loaded with data from tons of factory loads Greats for reference and comparisons Is there any way that when you enter the load menu to choose a cartridge that next time you enter the load menu again it can bring you back to that cartridge instead of back to the top of the cartridge list It would make comparisons for similar cartridges or different loads within the same cartridge much faster than scrolling back though Either way Amazing app I use it every week as a reference tool not just for the ballistics calculations at the range Thank you for the updates                 Awesome app

As with the other reviews the weather has quit working on isnipe It worked good for a year and then it quit Whats the deal Does anybody know of another ballistics program similar to isnipe that has a reliable weather function           Weather Problem

Ive been using this for almost 3 years Make sure that info you are plugging in is accurate and you will be on the money Several times things didnt jive and my bullet was not landing as predicted by the app I rechecked my settings and realized that I made some errors in the data entry As soon as I corrected my data input it was right on target accurate Temps are not always correct I always bring my portable weather station with me Ranges can be hotter or colder wind stronger etc than the nearest weather station were this app gets its info Double check your weather readings against your hand held weather station                 Good app

Just updated to 411 and the weather still appears to be incorrect as it is not the current temperature as it is off 10 degrees so maybe it is not showing the correct GPS location           Problem with weather

Really need to update bullet listings Its missing most all of the Barnes match burners           Need to update bullet list

It does not let you compare bullets Which is the reason I got it           Not worth the price

I established my 300yd zero with my 308 Using iSnipe I entered my ballistics data weather and range info When I moved to the 600yd range the data provided from iSnipe got my on the 10 ring on my first shot elevation was good but I didnt provide enough windage so I was slightly to the right of the x ring Absolutely happy with this app The ability to store rifles ranges and ballistics is a great feature                 Cold bore 600yd 10 ring

Great app but needs a velocity calculator based on known drop at different distances It would also be nice to separate wind drift from spin drift and Coriolis in the table so those can be adjusted for and wind can be done using mil dots              Needs velocity calculator based on known drop data

Ive been using iSnipe since its inception and have come to use it even more than the Ballistic app which I also rate as one of the two best ballistics apps Both apps are excellent and both have a couple issues that need to be dealt with But one of the issues with iSnipe is weather Using the weather input icon which should automatically fill in the current weather which it did months ago no longer works and does nothing except show a dialog stating an error has occurred and no weather is input I tried changing between F and C and still no weather input Yes weather info can be input manually but when this is a feature of this app users should not have to go to another app for weather This is not a new issue it has not worked for several months and several other reviewers have reported the same issue Why hasnt this been fixed a long time ago in an update The only other issue which I consider a major issue I have with iSnipe is the small list of ammunition to choose from I realize that with the vast amount of ammunition available in so many calibers that it would be impossible to list them all but this needs to be updated with a much larger database to select from This is where the Ballistic app excels with a significantly larger ammunition database to choose from including Litz ballistics info which iSnipe doesnt have but would be nice to see a selection of Litz ballistics to choose from in iSnipe Except for these two issues iSnipe is one of the two best ballistics apps available Any of the others are sadly lacking and useless for a skilled shooter who requires accurate ballistics particularly at long range                 iSnipe Is Excellent But Needs Weather Fix

Do not install addons until they fix the APP after you update with addon isnipe crashes I reinstalled its a NOGO     Isnipe

Ive been using this app for over a year and I can tell you it is spot on Ive been able to accuratly dial in 600 yard shots perfectly The hold over diagrams are a great bonus Would buy again 1010 Spec Remington 700P with Luepold Mark 4 LRT                 Awesome tool

I use an Angle Cosine Indicator on my scope tube for vertical angle or an app This is a great app for the cost and does everything I want It helped me win a bet with Ken Elmore the Black Rifle guru about near and far zeroes during an advanced M4 armorers recert which was priceless                 Excellent tool

A year ago the longest Id ever shot was 400 yards and with poor results too In just one summer using iSnipe I can hit a 36 target at a mile consistently As long as I put in the correct information and do my part when firing I cant miss Money well spent                 AWESOME

I have had this app for years almost 4 years I think and love it It is kept current with new cartridges and bullets for inputting your own load data Works amazingly well as a ballistic calculator especially when you cant access tables on the web you only need data to download ambient conditions A app                 Great App that does what it should

After chronograph ing the ammo and inputting correct data I had a first shot hit 600 yards on a 9 degree down angle No wind input it was dead calm I hit a 3 inch circle Not being a long range ie past 300 yds shooter it impressed the heck outta me              review

It was working fine till I sprung for the inapp upgrade Now it crashes when opening the app Tried to uninstall and reinstall no go iPad version still works though This was a great app How it gets fixed        Was working but now it crashes

If you are a shooter or hunter you need this app I use it for everything from my FX Airgun to my 1000yd target rifles and it is right on target every time                 This app rocks

Overall a very good program but with a serious flaw The solution for wind lead is incorrect The system wrongly calculates wind lead from your zero setting range mine is 200 yrd Instead it should calculate total lead from muzzle to target The program does as it should have 2 separate settings for wind one when you zeroed the gun initially and the other for wind condition at time of shooting But they dont compute the difference correctly for lead I sighted my gun at 200 yards and entered 0 wind speed and logged this into Isnipe The resultant ballistic table appears theoretically correct The problem occurs when you enter the 2nd wind condition for the time of shooting Enter say a 15 mph crosswind from 9 oclock and the resultant solution shows ZERO wind drift at 200 yards The tables indicate the negative amount of lead up to zero and the positive amount after zero To get true lead out to an example of 350 yards one would need to add the amount of total negative lead from 0200 as a positive number to the lead noted at 350 yards The program also fails to report correctly when the user asks it to calculate and show the reticle solution for a specific distance in lieu of using the tables It will show NO lead at 200 yards regardless of the daily wind speed you select And the amount of lead at any distance past 200 will be incorrect as it does not include the accumulated lead up to 200 factored in The system should compute the TOTAL DIFFERENCE from the wind condition noted at zeroing and the daily wind entered     Wind Solution Wrong
