If functional this app would be 5 stars but I can no longer use it And I have a LOT of purchased content A LOT Not happy         I have same issue with non function after update Cornelius Julius Sebastian

Always loved this app but since the last update the app will open up and then immediately close Uninstalled the app and then reinstalled hoping that would fix the issue but it didn t Have them same issue Hope you all are able to fix this soon Thanks                     Last Update MattJ0425

I love this app but not thrilled with the latest update The phone screen is too small to have 2 columns of text Also it s off centered on the iPhone X screen so some of the text gets cut off Any hands you ll change it back to a single column of text                 Latest Update AtleyL

This app is amazing I love it I use it all the time I recommend it often I love downloading talks and playing them for my kids in the car They are learning so much as am I The other features of this app are also outstanding The one thing I find lacking in this app is the audio player it s awkward to use It s impossible to find a particular part of a talk or rewind a bit if you missed something And unfortunately the audio player is VERY buggy now since the latest update It s often unresponsive when I select a talk to play and the Now Playing feature doesn t work anymore Please fix this Thank you 2 1 17 UPDATE I still love the app but since the newest update it constantly crashes PLEASE fix this                     AWESOME Catholic Homemaker

I have the Ignatius Study NT in both the Kindle version and Nook and while I like both of those well enough this app beats them cold It s much easier in this app version to explore parallel verses to trace allusions and to take advantage of the many essays and word studies and then to return to your starting point The free download includes the commentary on The Gospel of John but you will want to buy the complete commentary Well worth it                     Beats Ebook Versions Iagreetotally

This Catholic Bible App has the Daily Readings and has many options like highlights and bookmarks The Study notes are useful to me there is also New Testament audio that I purchased which is nice to listen to after reading the verses There are some free audio teachings to download There is a sync option you can save everything online the app has always saved my highlights bookmarks except the two times I changed my phone but I think I forgot both times to manually press sync Great Bible app I hope they keep up the good work with it                     Great Bible App David256

Through the years I have downloaded and still regularly do use all of the major Bible apps yet for several reasons I cherish this one above all The January update was great overall However the one feature most lacking is the one I utilize the most highlighting You now must make SIX taps in order to highlight just one verse Please fix this feature to bring it in line with the other Bible apps and e readers one or two touch highlighting finger drag highlighting like e readers if possible more color options and especially partial verse highlighting Thanks and God bless                 6 step highlighting IsaiahWings

I really like the app Lots of features I love the Bible and look forward to downloading the whole thing The audio player is not so user friendly sole reason for taking away a star I am used to the Podcast and its controls This one has no rewind function and will pause it temporarily but will then go to the beginning If you could make it just like the podcasts on my iPhone I would truly be in love It would make this app go from excellent to amazing                 Love it but mcala

This is a fantastic study aid and great for supplementing prayer Along with a super easy to use scripture search there are the daily missal readings as well I love this app                     Best catholic bible app ever usajgb3

I would like to give this app a full 5 stars because the content offered is absolutely worthy of such a rating However the app itself specifically the built in media player is severely lacking With no regrets I have purchased upwards of 40 worth of their media tracts As mentioned above all is top rate and spiritually enriching However forget about it if for example you didn t quite hear what the speaker said or you want to listen to a point again or you need to rewind so you can make a note of the Scripture passage that was just quoted The media player basically includes a toggle Play Pause button and a slider control to move forward or back in the talk I have found this virtually impossible to use with any accuracy Maybe I just have fat fingers But I find it so difficult to use that lately I simply don t even try anymore And it s a shame because by all other measures the app is simply outstanding But it is just very curious that an app whose primary purpose is to easily distribute and sell invaluable audio content is packaged with such a poorly designed media player This said please do not let the deficiencies of the media player discourage you from downloading the app and trying for yourself First of all perhaps your experience will be different than mine and more importantly the content itself is simply outstanding There is also the option of subscribing to the Lighthouse CD club which for a nominal fee sends a physical CD to your address each month I was a happy subscriber at one point but after amassing a stack of CDs in my truck was hoping that this app would prove more versatile And indeed it is But I just try to listen all the better because I sure don t want to try and rewind if I don t hear something Hopefully a future version will correct this Simply the ability to skip back or forward 30 seconds for example would make a world of difference and immediately turn this into a 5 star app from a functional standpoint             Great content mediocre app cmhall8

I ve been using Lighthouse Catholic Media website to download Catholic mp3 s or buy their CD s I ve listen to over 30 of them and they re fantastic Now you can download the talks right to you iPhone thru this app Listen anytime In the car on a walk listen and learn your Catholic faith with excellent speakers Plus there are freebies all ready to listen to The Bible is also amazing with easy use and bookmarking I paid extra for the footnotes and they re worth every penny Explains the typology by referencing other books and verses I can t say enough about this app                     AWESOME Leejo00

Great app Really useful I would have had a lower star rating recently but the last round of bug fixes has solved every issue that bothered me The one touch daily Mass readings are really great to have It s a simple enough thing but this is just so uncompromisingly convenient that it makes the difference between following the readings every day or not At least for me Worth downloading the app for that feature alone My one request there seem to be new Lighthouse talks out there that are not available in app yet I spend a long time in the car and I have spent an embarrassing amount on these downloads and I m just saying if the new ones were made available I would end up dropping more money here I know I can order CDs and podcasts and such but the app is the most convenient medium for me to listen to them Anyway great job with this everyone involved Highly recommended                     Excellent MarcMullet

I do no recommend the truth and life dramatized audio Bible portion It kind of makes Jesus sound angry and impatient all the time I know he was human but I don t think he would have sounded so whinny After using this app for a while now i have a few comments 1 Simplify icon There s just too much detail to make it that small 2 Simplify font color menus Too complicated 3 Allow full screen mode allow people to hide the audio portion I don t care for the audio version you have chosen and don t want to see this section 4 Eliminate red number thing next to icon while reading It s distracting         Good Start needs some work totustuusjesus
