I have used this app for years It is my music bible Love it I use it in corporate cruise ship and national artist gigs I refer to it often I have about 600 songs and I don t know what I would do without my songbook                     My music bible Lilburn Ga

It is not very user friendly and it is hard to edit songs but it did do its job just not very well I wouldn t recommend this app         Expected more Hush eggs

You can spend hours getting your music typed perfectly yet if you make the smallest change or accidentally delete a section there is no was to undo or get it back You are stuck having to re type your music again Also the chords do not align like you set them in edit mode Much time is wasted trying to shift chords left and right to align them I wasted my money with this app     Horrible app Phil Vaughn

It s nice to be able to jot down the chords in the original key then easily transpose to other keys with a couple of clicks Also like the auto transpose feature when specifying capo usage I just wish the mono spacing font was the default so that the chords line up over the text when importing from a Text file Easy to change but should default to that                 Nice app for transposing dennisonjc

This is the best app I have found for scrolling lyric and chord charts I love the set list and tagging features I do wish the set list feature could total up the time of each set list for planning purposes I have not been able to get the metronome to be audible even though the setting is enabled I will work through that with support I also wish the auto scroll speed could be set to a percentage of the song length for songs that have long intros or bridges Bottom line it is the best I have found                 Great App LaVoci

It would be nice if I could load songs directly from the Internet I had to hand enter all 67 songs which is a lot initially but from here out it won t be as much having to add any new songs 1 or 2 at a time That s all                 Great functionality but chad.meyers1

I purchased this app even though there were no ratings on it I take full responsibility for that one I m a worship leader at a church in CA and thought it would be nice not to have to carry around a folder of worship music everywhere I go When I purchased this app I understood that this would not be a system where I could just pick worship music from an online database and have it download to my iPad I followed their instructions to bring the music into a Word document and to save the file as a text only document However when it loads to the app it doesn t highlight the chords so you can see the different ways to play it on your guitar Nor does it accurately display the verse chorus bridge headings even though I had done so in Word Finally I had to play with where the chords would sit above the lyric because even though it was correct in the Word document once I tried to convert it they would get misplaced This is WAY too much work to have to do on an app that is supposed to make you life easier I just wish I hadn t paid for the app and lost out on the money I know it s a cheap app but it s the disappointment in having purchased something that is completely useless to me If the developer can make this work better for me I will gladly change my rating Until then I m sorry one star is all it s worth     Really want to love it JMyers77

Does what it s supposed to do Really leverages the capability of the iPad to replace tons of ring binder notebooks It s got all the chords I ll ever need It s super easy to use and share with Plus it really keeps songs and set lists organized Only suggestion I have better user control of scrolling speed it usually scrolls too fast                     Fabulous The Rabbit888

App is great except for the issue of loosing what you ve just typed out Everything looks great on screen but sometimes when you save it doesn t I only noticed this a couple times when I m at practice with everyone Pretty annoying iOS 7 8 1 has the same problem Fix this please I have already emailed regarding this issue             Looses information sometimes S0M3R@ND0MGUY

Ever since this new iOS update I have been having problems with the keyboard on my sets song The keyboard is popping up and it won t go please fix this I use this app all the time and it s great but this is a major problem If not fixed I ll have to find another app to use                 Problems DFlitz

Just like the others are saying I m having trouble with sets with iOS 8 I need this function to work properly because I m in a band that performs regularly and I ve got all my music saved in this app I m hoping this is fixed sooner than later             In need of an update Heelsfan71

Since the ios8 update the mysongbook app has been not working correctly When I attempt to use a set of songs that I created for a performance the keyboard automatically popped up and it will not hide itself again It s like it is locked open This made it impossible to set it to scroll which made the app quite useless to me Is there an update coming to fix this issue If not I may have to find another app for music                     iOS 8 Update Issues Halesy-Poo

I don t know how many times I had to start over in edit mode This app is clunky and non responsive When I did finally get a song finished I tried to email the chart The app looked like it would use my current contacts but when I clicked to add them in the send field all it added was the name no address You would be better off with Onsong or iGigbook     Save yourself some frustration alviecat

I cannot say enough how great this app is if you are simply looking for something to replace your 4 000 page binders with all your centuries old hand written or printer generated lyrics It lets you download lyrics cut paste from your favorite site mine is epic lyrics and simply copy into a new file in this program then apply the key even has transpose for guitar with capo and write the chords directly above the words to easily follow along Anyone that can t figure this thing out has just not spent a reasonable moment of time with it For the songs that I need just a chart I simply type it in using symbols between the alphabetical letter names Ex BbM7 Cm D7b5 Gm Etc For under 5 bucks Just get it                     Getthisapp Zombie tacular

Many of the programs that I tried only allow you to download chord charts and not input your own songs from scratch MySongbook is the exception which is great for me because I m a professional musician with a huge songbook of my own original material MySongbook handles that task neatly The only thing I might like to see included in future versions is the ability to format the lyrics When a song calls for a duet I usually differentiate between the parts by putting one singer s lyrics in italics MySongbook will not yet let me do that and I m half ing it by marking each line with hashtags but italics or bold would definitely be better Keep it up and I look forward to using the program and hopefully seeing further updates                 Enjoyable songbook ap that lets you put your own songs in Lorien Patton

Complete and utter rip off ChordTunes is a very limited application but it s a Cadillac in comparison to this one Except this one has the Cadillac price tag     Rip off Area 51 Man
