This is just about the worst app I ve ever used There is no way to bookmark your book There is no timer to turn off the book the app wasn t letting my phone s timer turn off the book either The book isn t organized by chapter number but by tracks so you have to guess out of 80 tracks where you left off The reading speeds don t include a 75 speed that slows down the speech but doesn t distort the audio It doesn t suggest books in the same genre or even by the same author You can t buy books within the app The last book in the series I m reading is 50 But I have to get out of bed and turn on my laptop to give you my money NO THANKS I don t know that B N is spending their money on but it certainly isn t on programming or sales capture Barnes Nobel Hire me and I ll fix your audiobook division     Worst App Ever PlushPippin

I m an Audible Platinum member but I had to download the Nook Audiobooks app because I m a loyal Nook user The daily finds are better bargains than the Audible subscription so I switch between the two Barnes Noble surprises me with great books and I choose my own books with Audible                     Nook Daily Finds 1996e

What is really frustrating about this app is not being able to bookmark or save your spot and being able to open up another device and pick up where you left off Maybe it s me but I don t think so FRUSTRATING             Why can t I make a bookmark MsMiche

Three stars because none of Barnes and Noble apps allow purchasing direct within the app I m sure there s a reason but it annoys me As far as the app s functionality I read the reviews saying it didn t work but it worked fine for me on an iPhone 6S and iPad Air I listened to Hornfischer s Last Stand of the Tin Can Sailors all the way to Dallas and back There was one flaw for the first 20 minutes the playback stopped at each new track requiring me to hit play again It s possible it was something on my phone or in my audio system connection as I could find no other mention of it and it actually went away after a bit and has played flawlessly since             Works fine three stars for no purchase ability velodave

Frustrated downloaded the app with high expectations great anticipation When trying to purchase my first nook audio it was first difficult to even find the title for purchase as an audio had become aware of it via email advertisement from Barnes n Noble Finally found it made the purchase the download was sent to my regular nook app When I tried to open the Audio Nook app it would say it was downloading my books then crash It has done this several times even after deleting the app re downloading the app it s self UGH Now I have the book it downloaded in regular library is not audio HELP     Won t load NSWNSW

The reason you cannot buy a book or audio within the App is that Apple will not allow it to be You can only buy a book or audio in IBooks or iTunes There s is a Barnes and Noble App to purchase these items and then send it to your Book App The same applies to kindle You need the Amazon store app to buy a Kindle book or audiobook                 Audio Book App Dukeq27

I haven t used the app yet to listen to a book mostly because I couldn t buy one I was disappointed to find you still cant make purchases directly from the app Even a link to the BN web site or app store would be nice It s kind of stupid to browse through books and not even get pricing and whats the purpose of a wish list you cant use I have been an advocate of nook since day one defending the program from my kindle friends BN You can do better with this app and the reader in the way of purchasing YOUR MISSING THE BOAT After finally going straight to the BN site I found that audio books are significantly cheeper at BN than other sites Fix this portion of the app and you will be 10 steps ahead of of your audio book competitors         BN you can do better Jmarsolek
