It is so nice to have an application that is straightforward to use and just works I use it on my CRV and Ford Fusion and it works well on both The total cost of the app and the wi fi connecting connector was less than 25 Bravo                 It Just Works

I use an elm327 odb2 wifi dongle with my 2013 BMW 550ix The app works as advertised Many of the odb2 apps out there just dont recognize the dongle or require you to buy the over priced odb2 hardware from the app supplier The app will occasionally lose connection with the dongle but its a quick tap to reconnect Overall a good app              Nice odb2 reader app

What an excellent piece of work Upon diggin in and messing around with different options Ive found a few things that would be nice For the gauges a tap and hold TO MOVE feature would be nice And also an option to hide the menuback bar at the top or maybe even a full screen option Also Id like to see alerts on here Say when you DO get a check engine light have it alert you For me I purchased this because my check engine light doesnt work so instead of having to go in and scan it once a week to check on it I could be alerted Or when you hit a range on the custom gauge have it alert you Other than that this app is well worth the money Hats off                 Awesome

I have not yet used it for pulling codes so I cant comment on that but it works really well for data acquisition It is easy to build a custom dashboard The appearance can be adjusted to almost any taste Now I have a use for my old iPhone                 Just what I was looking for

I was really hoping this would work I have a Generation 2 Automatic OBD scanner so its supposed to work and it does successfully connect to the Automatic device However pretty much every function says not available or not supported by the connected vehicle I have a 2011 Honda Perhaps this is the problem Even though the app is supposed to support Hondas Hondas are extremely rare automobiles so its possible that the developers who created this app have never actually seen one in the wild On the plus side it shows me MPH and RPMs But so does my Hondas dashboard So I recommend skipping this app If you want some real fun try burning a ten dollar bill It costs the same but it provides heat and light     999 of sadness

My 2001 Safari began having intermittent chugging problems a week ago and my mechanic well experienced in OBDII read the codes and performed work related to the codes When I got the van back the high speed high load chugging condition was occurring at less than 30 mph He did not have the capability to troubleshoot the intermittent problem So in two days I became an expert I bought a WIFI dongle as recommended by the OBD Fusion application info I ran a series of tests and found unusual O2 Sensor conditions Mixed in was a speed indication of 13000 rpm but I was focusing on the chugging problem and had no good operating data This could not have been done without dumping the OBD Fusion files into Excel and graphing the various signals Then I recorded two ninety minute trips The 13k RPM occurred once out of over 8000 data samples on the first run and five times in the second run These were 6 mb data files each with over 7000 full set data samples That would explain why my mechanic had problems identifying the fault using Engine Fault Codes No engine faults were identified that had not been addressed But the huge data files with very few crank sensor hits did not consistently set the fault indicator for a crank code and the MIL Malfunction Indicator Light was not clamped on A quick Internet search resulted in a GM Service Bulletin PC123 identifying insufficient clearance between the crank teeth and the sensor The crank teeth were shaving away the sensor surface and causing excess false speed to cause the fuel to be cut off only when the throttle was neat 100 open during high loads GM sells shims to increase the sensor to crank clearance This analysis could not have been done with a simple engine code reader And a mechanic is not going to take a van for a three hour test drive OBD Fusion with the WIFI dongel provided amazing data to and from work projects As it turns out the original fix was to replace the crank sensor based upon engine codes That put a brand new sensor in touch with the crank Over three days of learning on the job the RPM data got progressively better as the new sensor was milled by the crank speed gear Today a two and a half hour trip resulted in a max engine speed of only 4300 RPM with many full throttle conditions So I guess what I witnessed was the breaking in of the new crank sensor Even so the shim fix will be installed And from time to time a long trip record will be evaluated I suppose a GMC shop would have spotted the problem quickly But for less than 30 I now can do a CAT Scan of CA AQMD shenanigans                 Huge Data Files

Works great has link to more information on the web about OBD codes but it would be better if the information stored on the phone so I wouldnt have to disconnect from the scan tool It also needs more information on Mode 06not even links to definition are provided If it had those changes I would give 5 stars              Works great needs more information

Im an automotive student and currently were learning to use OBD2 scanners This app is great because ive caught a few DTCs on my car that i never realized i had So now i can take it into our lab where we work on vehicles for hands on practice I would highly recommend for anyone who is strapped for cash and doesnt want to spend 200 on an actual scanner when this has the same exact functions but with more portability                 Great for automotive students like me

I recently bought a wifi generic adapter on Amazon for 10 I have a 2008 Yukon Denali and wanted to clear my engine light from an evap code Wasnt sure what to expect but this works great Connecting took about 20 seconds and Im blown away by how many things this app shows me I was able to clear the code no problem and plan on trying out the gps logging features tomorrow It even syncs data to Dropbox Also really impressed with the amount of customization ability for creating a realtime dashboard Great job Havent tried the other apps but feel good that I ended up picking this one                 This is awesome Worked perfectly for my GMC

I considered some of the other options but a friend recommended OBD Fusion I love the customizable dashboards and logging options This app is packed with features and is top notch                 Awesome app and great features

If you have the Automatic adapter the gauges are pretty limited right now Its not necessarily an issue with the app the adapter itself doesnt send a lot of OBD info yet Its supposed to soon with a firmware update but thats not out yet As for the app itself its pretty neat particularly how much you can customize the gauges Not the smoothest workflow in making your own layout right now but seems to be pretty flexible in what you can domeanwhile the other stuff will be useful whenever the Automatic firmware update comes out              Automatic adapter caveat

Love the app Gauges are awesome Not sure if I am missing it but I want to have a Miles to Empty gauge This was one of the main gauges I wanted Instant mileage and Total mileage is great but I want to insure I have enough gas to get to my destination              Missing Mile to Empty

Well I bought this app to read codes on my 2000 Saab 93 and reading codes is a job it does commendably Clears CEL codes as well Thats all great but getting to the actual codereading stage was an exercise in resisting hurling both my phone and the OBD2 dongle into the ocean I specifically wanted a Bluetooth scanner so I could use my iPhones wifi for other apps Found a suitable dongle but it takes at least 3 tries to connect each time I get in the car And I have zero faith that it will stay connected mainly due to the fact that it has NEVER stayed connected for an entire car trip no matter how brief So the benefit of gleaning any gassaving info from all of the data provided by the app and it is a LOT of data should you desire it basically disappears when you realize you have data from only 25 of your driving history Great idea for sure Just doesnt translate to the real world consistently enough to be useful And finallyand maybe Im doing something wrong in this particular matterI cant seem to switch to another app say Maps or iTunes without this app quitting and then having to start the whole godforsaken unplugthedongleandreplugandthenreconnecttoiPhoneapp process once again So much info being given to us by our carswhy is it so difficult to get it Just make it work please I should say though that this app would be the best app on my phone if it consistently did what it was designed to do        Such high hopes

I have a 2012 Audi A4 Some values are correct verified with VCDS while other values are wildly inaccurate For example the app is telling me Im pushing 66lbs of boostyeah thats not happening Peak is around 2325psi Throttle position is also incorrect 15 at idle should be 12 82 at WOT should be 99100 Ignition timing isnt even close to being correct Does this not work with VAG vehicles Would appreciate a response from the devs here for 10 this shouldnt be happening              Wrong Values

This app is super helpful Also the logging is really handy if you record data you can email all the data to yourself in standard csv format                 Awesome

This OBDII app is the best IMO for BMWs The only thing is that there is a shortage of instructions to do things that will be necessary to utilize the app to its full potential Mainly like how to create a log of necessary data like O2 readings LTST fuel trims etc The Dropbox feature is really nice when troubleshooting with someone elsewhere              Very helpful But

I have a 2007 Honda Ridgeline and using the app with 2nd generation of Automatic adapter Very few gauges work with this setup voltage RPM and MPH Voltage is the only additional information not available from car gauges The app offers lots of different gauges but are useless for me I regret purchasing it Developer needs to do a better job of communicating potential limitations Their website discusses OBD II compliance on a national level but not by vehicle and year It is is a crapshoot on what gauges will work     Okay But Minimal functionality

I cant recall buying any app for 10 before Even though this seem like the best of the OBD2 apps I kept passing over this because it seem expensive I ended up downloading two other free obd2 apps but the user interface was just soso Plus most of the features was unavailable unless you fork out well over 10 to use them Further they dont look as professional as this I finally decided to buy this one and I couldnt be happier There are some great features that are not even mentioned There is cool one with a map that shows you your various speeds throughout a particular trip Plus many others                 Just buy this dont waste time with others

Got this app after upgrading my Automatic device to 2nd gen My biggest suggestion to the author would be to not tie the ranges to the templates they tend to be specific to the gauge              Works well a suggestion
