Tried to use this app on iPad It s awful for three reasons 1 It has a lot of issues loading content when I have full cellular and WiFi connectivity with no problems in other apps Sometimes you just cannot access any articles 2 It doesn t have the full post gazette content so is kind of a rip for paying subscribers 3 It forces you to use it in landscape mode Why not let us rotate to either like every other app since they invented iPad Come on Pgh post gazette you can do better     Horrible on iPad Labmonkies

I am not sure why PG NewsSlide is being foisted on the readers of the Post Gazette The PGe is fine and mirrors the print paper The NewsSlide does not It leaves out a lot of content and It is not searchable I will probably delete when I need space     Horrible Emery3093

Update Jan 2018 I ve deleted this app as it continues to have loading and scrolling issues This on a brand new IPad The people at the PG ought to look at these reviews to see how poorly they are doing The latest update was supposed to improve loading but may be worse If this app starts working reliably I ll be a fan Until then I d suggest they take some of their advertising budget and spend it on development     Loading issues K.brooke

I want to like this the idea is right on but the execution has been poor I am surprised when an article is loaded and not being loaded I will be an avid user once the kinks are worked out         Nice Try Dhdoug48

This app is so slow i ended up deleting it     Miserably slow to load even with high speed internet douglasg1999

Visually and organizationally the app is good The execution is very poor It stalls freezes and about 95 of the time just does not work This is on a new iPad Pro with a fast Internet connection                     Nice idea poorly executed Lutzjw
