Whether my just2 son is halflistening to the story or not he loves messing with all the little animated treats on each page As he gets older hopefully hell pay attention more The words are highlighted as theyre read which seems helpful for beginning readers I never feel guilty or embarrassed to have my toddler playing with this app in public great buy highly recommend Im going to look for other book apps by these developers                 Gorgeous and engaging even for little ones

a couple pull tabs didnt keep us entertained much and the pics are small to make room for a background image of stationary lame open up the book           needs a dash more interactivity

Really beautiful well thought out and calming yet fun If you grew up with these books get this app for iPad Dont worry whether your children understand straight away just get it for you Day one my son made it through 4 pages I read it three times Day two I caught him making the bunnies giggle Day three I sat and listened to the music and enjoyed letting it read to me Day 4 he showed it all through to his grandfather There are some negative reviews about the space it needs I am fearful that they may take away from other books in the series because of these comments and wanted to say that I really hope Jeremy Fisher comes out in the same quality This made me very happy                 Big Potter Fan

Minus 2 stars for the company lying about the size of this app I love this it truly is a work of art Unfortunately this app is a huge space hog along with the other also gorgeous Popout books I love this but I dont know how long it can stay I need to make more room for other apps for my special needs students this one app takes up about 56x the space of my other beefy apps It is much more than what the app store lists it as my iPad says it occupys 585 MB Please fix this so this can have a permanent home on my iPad pretty please Update I had to delete it due to space issues and I am not using it all now so one more star taken away I hope an update addresses this issue or at the very least the description is changed to reflect the huge file size        Gorgeous app but a space hog storage size is inaccurate

I have been amazed by how much my 3 12 year old grandson loves this app He uses it every time we see each other He loves being able to touch the illustrations and have berries and leaves pop up out of the pictures he has fun squashing the berries too or have the characters make little sounds He enjoys using the sliders to manipulate the illustrations and he also likes to be able to tap individual words in the text and hear them spoken individually Now when his parents sit down with the real book he insists on doing the reading himselfcomplete with the British accent he hears in the app Peetah The music that plays in the background while the app is in use is a beautiful bonus too Really quite extraordinary                 Preschool Grandson Loves This

This does not compare to the remarkable design and graphics of The Fantastic Flying Books and Morris Lessmore TFFB This book has VERY simple animations compared to TFFB The animations make the image of the character shake or swivel or pullout TFFB has mini movie animations and interactive games within the book The only thing I like about this book is it picks up where you left off like TFFB my baby constantly hits the home button or 4finger wipes out of the book unlike the free books out there Weve read TFFB so many times we needed something new This is not worth 499        Not as good as The Fantastic Flying Books

More fun than a basket full of rabits                 Peter Rabit

My son has been picking out Peter Rabbit for me to read to him every night for 2 weeks so I decided to buy this app He is so entertained by it that I keep having to tell him to hold on while I write this review The music is lovely the sounds are so happy and yes the blackberries are pretty darn wonderful Runs smoothly a beautiful story book worth every penny Now Ill return the iPad to him                 My four year old LOVES this

This is a lovely interactive classic book though its a bit limited The narration is gentle and soothing and the illustrations are a wonderful marriage of Potters classic illustrations and modern technology              Lovely

We have loved this book for over a year but it recently started crashing April 2012              latest version crashes

Music narration art style and interactive elements compliment each other perfectly I have had the app for a few years now and still enjoy it very much Thank you so much for creating this it is part of my sons childhood memories                 Beautiful app

This is wonderful My sister was always telling my grandson the story so one day I was traveling with him and decided to load it on my phone He loved it and watches it every time he comes to see me                 love it

Tried this on my iPhone 4 what a lovely book app The illustrationsinteractions are engaging without being distracting and its wonderful that the story can be read aloud or by individuals with a handy touchactivated word pronunciation feature The only very minor issue is that some interactions are so small its hard to activate them on an iPhone I imagine they work just fine on an iPad                 Stunning

This is the first book I have seen that truly takes advantage of the touch screen medium A wonderful blend of old and the new Absolutely absorbing                 Amazing

I had to delete this right after purchasing because it maxed out my storage on my iphone I hate wasting on apps that cause problems I should have listened to the last review but it was from Jul 2011 and I had assumed the problem had been fixed but it has not BEWARE        Had to delete took up too much space

I limit my newborns screen time but when I do this is ideal My parents love it as it as they are getting older and it makes it possible to share a classic story as their eye sight diminishes And as I live in a foreign country it gives me a resource in my own tongue and dont have to expose my baby to tv that much                 Newborn and up great bonding tool
