Downloaded app and have yet to get it to work I have an irig2 plug in device and have been using GarageBand with my guitar I paid 99 cents for nothing Looked on internet for help forums and also on YouTube also My advice is to put your 99 cents towards something that will work     Not Much Tech Help That I Could Find Chunk Tn

If you have an irig guitar input and an electric guitar and some headphones you need this app 2 99 and it does what you d have to spend 20 and then some on the Amplitude app s Edit I just realized it picks up sound thru the iPhone mic so you don t need the irig at all for this It would prob make an acoustic sound like an electric Bonus Edit2 apparently the description says you need an irig So I m not crazy in thinking I needed that Thing is all you need is this app headphones into your iPhone and a guitar The mic on your iPhone picks up the guitar sound and models it in your headphones I had the best modeling working this way versus using my irig as the app intended This app is awesome and the creator doesn t even know it s full capability per the description Haha Here you just get a signal choose your cabinet amp And go crazy with effects if you want No in app purchases which I love Just give me the app and let me play around which this one does The best part in my opinion is the ability to choose from about 15 effects and string them together up to 5 Then you can swipe them left or right in the sound chain to see what effect that has Be your own Phil Spector and find that magic sound My favorite setup hiss choke distortion distortion distortion distortion it makes literally no sense but puts a smile on my face You can ne your presets I called it the hillpeople are coming to kill us all Soooo fun Buy this app already                     I just spent 3 hours in jamming heaven biznash

This app is tiny Only 12 meg That s important if your iPad has only 16 gig like mine But even more important is the fact that it sounds as good as some of those bigger more expensive apps which will always have in app purchases To sum it up this app sounds good works good is incredibly easy to use like actual stomp boxes and amps it uses very little memory it is complete and it is cheap This is the best guitar possessing deal anywhere And by the way I use it with bass guitar also                     Very good app very good deal Tree on Hill

Has all the main effects you could want to practice write jam The quality may of course lack with several effects at once or playing full chords with the pitch octaver but it s three dollars If youre like me and have real life gear and dont want to spend 10 for an ipad app buy it Thanks                     It s for recreation boon 36

I have used many of the guitar amp apps on my iPad and decided to buy this one also due to the price Really the cost of this app is about the same as adding a pedal to the others I was surprised at how well this app works for me It may not have some of the features some of the others have but for the price I paid for this I am satisfied Great app for practicing at night                     Great app for the price Happy buyer68

RiotFX easily surpasses the competition in sound quality and features not to mention the obvious PRICE I have but one complaint PLEASE add button control The sliding switch simply isn t usable for live performance Throw a big fat on off button in the middle of the screen to go with the big fat sound and this is a 5 star app D                 Hands down best sounding ~D!no

I give 3 stars because there is no recording feature This would be a Great app if you could record and save what you ve done It does have a lot if cool features but only YOU can hear them When I purchased this I really thought I d be able to record and save to my phone If this feature were added I d probably become addicted to the app and give 5 stars             No recording feature Sherebel1

The tones and effects are highly flexible latency with a guitar buddy cable is noticible but not impeding I got this for free and it blows amps and cabs away Keep up the good work                     Good job Agent 36

Tried RiotFX today am super impressed at the quality thought that went into this app Excited for v2 0 Ps my kids had tons of fun with the pitch Now I don t have to break out the mixer to use fx like these                     Tons of options Buy it now EIZNEM

Note that at this point the app is just a practice amp The design is easy to use and the effects are very good Wish list Add a metronome Allow recording Allow saving of presets Allow copy and paste into FourTrack Already improved Reduce latency I still here latency especially with 2 or more effects Seems to me that GuitarFX has less latency though the effects aren t as good This has been improved in the most recent version Improve attack The attack on the guitar when using distortion seems dampened and less aggressive then should This has been improved in the most recent version You can buy a hand made adaptor for you guitar from kvconnection dot com I have two Search for iPhone Adapter 3 5mm 4 conductor TRRS Male to 3 5mm TRS Headphone Jack and 1 4in Microphone Jack Ground Up Audio is working on an impedence balanced iPhone adaptor which will give much better quality sound overall For now though RiotFX does pretty well with my guitar plugged straight into the iPhone Not all guitar aps has as much gain as RiotFX                 Great Practice Amp Phadrus

I haven t been able to complete my guitar cable yet but even sitting with my electric by the mic or using my voice the sound is great The effects are very well implemented and the sound clarity is crystal Using multiple effects had no effect on the quality there was no slowdown or lag I would love to see Intua s pasteboard implemented in a future version Sonoma s isn t as stable IMO One more thing the dev is very helpful and responds to inquiries quickly and with great info                     Great interface and effects Ccphila

This is the most professional and complete guitar processor I have seen The beat syncable delay and the expander are especially impressive I look forward to recording metronome and audio copy paste so I can integrate it into my pocket studio                     Great sound easy interface weatherbuff

I was hesitant to buy this app at first because there are not a lot of reviews here in iTunes so I went on the web and got tons of good reviews so I tried it and I do not regret buying this app It is simple to use and the interface is user friendly and it does what it suppose to do without any major flaws The effects are great whether you use it for electric or acoustic guitar It is also cheaper than the other effects app that I saw around and it does a better job I would recommend this app to everyone                     A must have app for serious muscians and amateurs a like iNf3ct3d

A fantastic idea for electric guitarists primarily though it can certainly be used for acoustic or acoustic electric The interface is really well designed clean functional and visually appealing You can essentially create a rack with whatever combination of the available effects desired Each effect instance can be expanded to adjust parameters via sliders or collapsed to take up less screen real estate The available effects are Expander Pitch Shifter Tone Distortion Reverb Flanger and Auto Wah In addition there are settings for Noise Reduction Antialiasing both on off and Audio Fidelity low med high On an iPhone 3GS I kept the first two off and fidelity on high and latency was minimal even on fast funk chording with a clean tone I have not experimented with the NR or antialiasing which apparently uses twice the processing power but the fact that these options are included indicates the level of though that went into the design I had the good fortune to beta test a pre release version of RiotFX and the developer addressed every one of my comments I tend to look at this app as the ideal practice writing tool for a musician who travels with an electric guitar and doesn t have a practice amp laptop w audio interface or other monitoring solution along for the ride Like a few of the high quality tuners metronomes and chord scale libraries available as apps having this kind of functionality in a phone is incredibly freeing The effects themselves all sound good Personally the only ones I even wanted were reverb some kind of drive distortion and tone shaping Having a modulation effect Flange a touch sensitive filter auto wah and pitch shifting with chromatic intervals is rather amazing The pitch shift pushes the hardware s capabilities I think but the 4th 5th and octave above are all surprisingly useable when mixed with the dry signal appropriately I need to play with the distortion a bit more as I tend to like subtle drive effects but this isn t a tube amp so I m not expecting that kind of sensitivity Being able to roll off the highs with the tone stack should be enough to get a good sound The main missing link here is the appropriate cable that will allow guitar input with simultaneous stereo headphone output there appear to be ready made solutions on the market now I used an A V cable with RCA to 1 4 and 1 8 mini adapters The main challenge is dealing with the wide range of impedance matching required by passive humbuckers or single coil pickups I don t have a guitar with low impedance pups but they may well perform better in this application I look fwd to experimenting more with this app the price is totally appropriate and the developer has mentioned plans for delay and chorus fx in a later release Given the developer s responsiveness and the quality of his work I give this app 5 stars Guitar players will dig this                     Nicely done pchadwic
