Ive never done a review on an app before but this one is just too good to stay silent about It works like a charm Ive been my own worst enemy when it comes to waking up until now I was one of those people who sets like 20 alarms on my standard iphone alarm but still sleeps through them Having to get up and a return to take the same picture as the one I set the alarm with is brilliant I took a picture of my front door and have to get all the way from my room all the while a blaring siren alarm is going off on my phone Annoying as hell And effective Literally saving my life
I started using this app few if days ago but it started to fail to ring when the alarm was set Turns out the app needs to be open in order for the alarm to work Also I figured out that to turn off the alarm you can just close the app Its supposed to be an alarm that wont turn off till it gets me out of bed to take that picture but half the time it fails to ring and now I can just close the app to turn it off Loved It Until
This alarm never fails me Never had any issues as far as being reliable for my morning alarm Its simple to use and has a clean layout A couple things tho 1 I hate that when you create a new alarm it defaults the time as being one min away until you change it Ive accidentally forgot to set the time for the morning and Ive woken my husband multiple times this way as Im frantically shaking my alarm or having to delete the app as fast as I can Really annoying 2 while this alarm always goes off successfully it occasionally freezes my phone and it wont stop going off 3 pleeeease change the way the mins on the alarm are set The rotating numbers are annoying difficult to work with Allowing us to type it in would be much easier 3 because of the freezing and such I have to delete and reinstall this alarm frequently Please give us the option to skip the alarm tutorial Despite these issues this alarm is the best Ive used I am an extremely heavy sleeper and have tried almost every ios alarm app available but this one seems to work best for me Works but is theres some big issues
The app is glitchy and consumes a lot of power compared to others When ever I try to use it the app is slow which piss me off in the morning I had to reopen the app several times for it to finally save my alarm after the tutorial Which the tutorial is not helpful at all There are free apps much better than this one Save your money

I had another app that makes you take a pic and it was really buggy This one has never failed to go off when I set it and the photo feature almost always recognizes my photo Its helps me so much Way better than the competition

This program is great until you end up spending 15 minutes every morning with a piercing beep in your ear trying to convince the photo recognition system even on the easiest setting that your bathroom is the exact same it was yesterday to no avail Good idea but ultimately unusable and not worth the price tag Dont bother Impossible

I am an RN that has to be up at 530 on the days I work I have always worked nights until I had a baby Since moving to day shift I have struggled every single day with trying to get out of bed I set 5 different alarms and hit snooze for at least 30 min and always ended up late I downloaded and paid for several alarm apps and this is by far the best and the only one that has worked for me I have to get up and take a picture of my coffee maker and I havent gone back to bed not even once since using this alarm This alarm is a lifesaver and worth every penny The only thing that has worked
Ive had no problems with battery drain at all unless I dont wake up because when it goes off its at full volume So the reviews crying about battery are beyond asinine Secondly there are three settings for the pic The first setting will allow any picture the second will allow only a matching pic with with a little variance on distance the third setting has to be absolutely perfect and is infuriating but effective It took me ten minutes one time on the hardest setting to match the pic I use the second setting The reviewers asking for their money back are too lazy to even browse the simple and accessible settings the pic quality setting is the second setting on the right option bar This is the best of a plethora of alarm apps Ive tried Ive spent at least 25 in my search This is hands down the best alarm Ive used in my entire life I love it and there is no easy way to get out of waking up Thank you Alarmy for this utterly amazing app Change photo settings and plug in
This is an amazing app because it forces you to wake up I usually have a tendency to shut alarms off while being half asleep but for this alarm clock by the time you shut the alarm off youre wide awake and ready to start your day It has absolutely changed my life I used to dread having to get up early because Id worry I wouldnt wake up to an alarm clock I dont have this issue anymore 105 stars This app has changed my life

Great idea but any photo taken at all will turn off the alarm no matter how different it is to the one set Yes Ive tried on all 3 photo sensitivity settings any of them will turn off the alarm with a completely different pic Pretty much defeats the purpose of the whole app Any photo turns off the alarm

I have installed this app on three separate occasions and love the feature that makes you get out of bed to take a photo The problems are with the inconsistency of whether the alarm goes off and the fact that if you leave the app running it kills your battery very quickly If you forget to leave the app in the foreground when you go to sleep and your phones on silent the alarm still goes off but in silent But then say you leave your house so you cant take the required photo you have to shut your phone off to turn the alarm off I had so many troubles with the alarm not going off when I wanted it to and with it going off when I didnt want it to that I deleted the app three times but kept trying it again because it really makes me get out of bed More options for different sounds would be great Love the idea but has problems

This edition of iPhone doesnt shake well The sounds are stupid i got it for two days and deleted it The samsung edition is much better

I used this alarm with success for a while but recently it has stopped working I think having a music app Pandora Spotify etc running to fall asleep to messes with it I keep missing my morning classes because of this alarm Will not be using any longer Not compatible with music apps

Turns out if you take a picture of a white space like the wall or white bedsheets the alarm will also turn off Originally I set my alarm so that I have to take a picture of my bathroom sink in order to turn it off However one morning in my halfasleep stupor I accidentally took a picture of my bed It was closeup with nothing else in the picture but a smooth white bedsheet The alarm turned off Since then Ive tested it many times and its always the same result I no longer use it Its too easy to fool the app Easy to fool the app
