Unless interested in coupons do not waste time or money on The Tennessean Writing quality and content volume has significantly deteriorated over the past few years     A poor quality newspaper

This app is a joke i paid for my subscription and am not able to access any of it     E sbuscription

At least on this app you can read the head lines But thats it Being subscribed to the print paper was not a very productive way to go either Thanks Tennessean        Its better than paying for the print

Im a subscriber and this does not have most of the stories available And get this NO search function Ive had it 5 minutes and am deleting it I wanted to share some stories but they arent on the app Maybe 10 of an issue available Useless     Useless

I absolutely love how this app sends push notifications of the main news stories Ive never been really big on reading the news but since this app sends me push notifications it is easier to get the information                 I love the Push Notifications

I can remember my Dad reading the newspaper everyday I wonder if my kids notice I read the Tennessean everyday online sometimes multiple times This app is my go to source for current info                 Check this out everyday

I do subscribe and I find it very convenient to use when I want to especially when the weather is too nasty to go outside for the paper What I find annoying about the app is it only works in portrait mode I like to read my news on my iPad Mini over coffee in the morning with it in landscape mode My case will not support the mini in portrait The app also tends to not want to leave the latest news home page sometimes when you want to switch to Sports news or another section It is ok but seems low budget to me           Ok but could be great

This gives some front page teasers and then wants you to pay for the rest Im not paying for garbage Webmaster needs to study great online newspapers like AJC and NY times Improve the product before I pay     Could be better

This app is worthless and Im likely to cancel my subscription 4 of the 5 stories I just tried to read contain two sentences and then say Read this at the MusicIn Session blog There isnt provided a link to those blogs so I guess I have to open safari and search the website for the blogs What is the point of the app then The 5 story that had a link to the blog just opened a web browser within the app So the five stories I tried to view are available only through a web browser I was a Sunday only subscriber and kept my subscription when the price went up and when the pay wall was instituted I thought Id support the local paper and the app might be handy The app is crap and the daily emails of the Top 5 stories rarely get me to click on stories Im likely to cancel my subscription Im not getting 5 out of this a month let alone 12     Cant read articles

The apps OK but it cant compensate for the anemic news coverage and poor interplatform connectivity Stories in the Counties category arent identified by county and often seem random           Passable

I wish the app included all the articles that are included in the paper of that day as an option Unless Im missing it I only see top stories as determined by the editors and they include old news           What I wish for

Before the update I could open the site and read about my favorite hockey team the Nashville Predators Now I am told I have to subscribe to the site just to read two or three stories articles Not worth it could maybe look into possible low monthly fees or limit access to certain sections Disappointed that I cant keep up with my team     Disappointed

I just received a push from channel 5 about 440 closure meanwhile the Tennesseean pushes British boy band One Direction to play LP field in 2014 Who gives a S who gives a F No wonder the paper is only a husk of what it used to be     Worst newspaper app

Proud to be a subscriber App is great on the iPhone and iPad                 Much improved app

Even after paying for the subscription to have electronic access only a small portion of the stories are available ALSO there is a flashing neon banner at the bottom of the screen AND a random gray bar above that essentially limiting what you can see to 3 stories at a time I get a daily email of top stories for subscribers but when I click on a link in my email I am prompted to log in to access my subscription Really You just sent me a link to the story Get it together Tennessean     Dont waste your time

This app will only let you see some articles wants you to pay for most everything else Just like its online counterpart Not very friendly like you would imagine a newspaper from the Volunteer state Not much volunteering of info here        Have to pay extra to see most anything

Cant activate my account now could before Wont recognize my login Etc etc really want this to Eork but tired of trying to reinvent the wheel with a nontechnical company Ps when rain is forecast double wrap the paper     Still does not work
