I was not expecting this app to be so elegant and interesting Clever and Useful kasparowitz
I ve been working with desktop publishing type for pushing 30 years now and this app gave me an insight into how to compare typefaces systematically that I would never have thought otherwise It s great Simply enlightening GoodOldMonkey
I love various features and simple sections to learn different aspects of typography It feels like the playground for the designers Hope we can get kerning feature on iPhone version too Fun to learn type rennes00
I love type and this app is amazing My new favorite app ctagusa
Some good basics to typography I wish it s go a bit more in depth with it Also would be cool if I could compare fonts I have installed on my phone and iPad Good foundation Sir Picasso
Many other apps show you different apps but this helps you really UNDERSTAND the difference between similar fonts like Garamond Caslon Times New Roman and Baskerville These fonts look similar to the uninitiated but they really have a different appearance on the page Good Educational App Cameraman55
This app won t be worth it if it were free I expected more fonts Disappointing app Really jazzblossom
This app should be free for what you get I love the concept but there are barely any fonts and it s certainly not very fluid to compare and contrast font styles one letter at a time Save your money Definitely needs more substance Don t waste your money JennBatesPhoto
I m looking forward to updates in the app The only thing I m disappointed in is that it doesn t include any information on ligatures which I was hoping the app would cover but its a totally absent element Great start PineHousePress
The app lacks depth Among other things it needs more fonts The user interface is not intuitive It s clunky and can be confusing Navigating around the app forces portrait to landscape to portrait etc It forces constant rotation of your phone just to use the app with no user choice to do so I wouldn t recommend paying for this app in its current state but I remain hopeful that the developers will continue improving the app It definitely has potential Good start not polished jcjvm
A tool for drawing your own comparison An exercise in making a pretty app that s ultimately shallow and lacking history context or explanation No context halcyon100
Has the insights into typography I was looking for Great app Very Informative tjfwalker
I would also like more historical information about the fonts Like what exactly make a font considered Garald or transitional In type inspector after selecting a font at the top you can hit mark What is it trying to show you Needs more fonts Nicwess525
As a student in design school it is just great to see gorgeous historical typefaces in large size with retina display Might be not enough for the professional designers but definitely great app for the students in design school Can be used together with textbook Great for the design students Multdrv
The lack of fonts in this application make it useless Save yourself the dollar an look this stuff up on wikipedia Totally Useless SethG911
This app would be a favorite of mine if there were a larger number of fonts available Right now there are very few choices and obviousones As is this app is only useful to people who have never looked into typography before It could however if more fonts are added become a super awesome app Could have been cool L.Art
no Arial Typeface too less romoochen
Not that helpful no cool examples and almost no font variety whatsoever Not as advertised Waste of money Jessiegirl8447
This app seems great for students just starting out in graphic design or typography Past the function of a basic learning tool this app seems useless for any professional situation The content is severely lacking for me to spend anymore than two minutes with this app If the library of fonts was much larger then I could see more usefulness for this app For anyone looking for typographic knowledge past that of a basic level then I recommend The Elements of Typographic Style by Robert Bringhurst Great idea but lacking in content GDduby
If you re a designer this app may come handy The app however requires more attention from Apple Staff Great app but XboxOffender
but with only 16 typefaces it s a rudimentary tool destined to be used only for a few minutes while taking a first semester introduction to typography course I hope it is expanded to become a more useful reference tool with a longer life Great concept heymikey1965
This App has a well designed user interface and is a very good beginning To get 5 Stars it needs much more in depth information Right now it is rather anemic in that regard A Very Nice Start dmsdzinr
